I would not stay

The best of the la quinta it was near shopping areas and restaurants. It was centrally located to parks. It was near Highway exists making the access superb

Security exit doors where not locking. Entrance room door, door handles broken. Hallways and Lobby area where extremely cold and management have not turn of the heat. Breakfast was cold due to the the lobby area being under 50 degrees.

Room was clean and affordable, great location to nearby food and parks

The room keys did not work properly, hotel staff said we needed to "fish" the key card in and out of the reader quickly and repeatedly in order for it to read and open the door. It was also very clear the hotel was under some construction, being patched up with little regard to quality. We found a construction nail on the bedside table.

Very convenient for our 3 night stay for ACL

Stayed here for ACL. Super conveniently located in that regard. Enjoyed the free breakfast. It was very convenient overall. The room was very spacious which I was not expecting. The staff was kind and friendly too. Overall it was a good choice for our 3 night stay!

Disappointed

We stayed at this hotel a few times, location was particularly convenient for us; unfortunately, this time it was quite disappointing. Renovation is ongoing, with workers, dust, paint smell, loud construction noises all day, in the rooms just next door. At a point the water was shut off, without any notification from the front office nor the management nor booking.com. Front office employee did not provide any updates or apologies, and just kept saying "5 more minutes" "10 more minutes" which was not the case. This went on for almost 2 hours. Unfortunately for our group, it happened at the worst time possible, in the midst of a bathroom emergency. I'll spare you the details, but it ruined our stay and trip.

While I was told I was the “renovated” 4th Flr. Almost everything was thread bare. Hall way carpet worn and stained. Paint dated and worn. While sold as a no smoking property my room (409) smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I don’t smoke.

This location is so close to any hiking trails, malls, food, and stores that you might want to go to! The staff is really nice and the pool is a nice area. It's not the most nice/lux place but it's sooo comfy and has what u need! ESPECIALLY for the price!!!

Filthy. Under bed riddled with dust, an empty styrofoam cup, and a whole pizza box. A/C reeked. Hallway reeked. Carpet stained all throughout. No cameras outside despite frequent break-ins. We were told, "APD usually circles the block every couple of hours"

Somewhat disappointing, I'll stay elsewhere next month when I visit Austin. I didn't take any photos

I understand that the property has been under renovation for some time, I have stayed there a few times during this. The room I had this time had many unfinished things. Comfortable enough for sleeping but a little rough. The "water saving" shower heads are terrible, it takes forever to wash shampoo out of a persons hair, I'm sure more water is actually used to get a decent shower as it takes a very long time, and I'm a man with relatively short hair. I don't think a woman, or man, with long, thick hair would repeat a stay there.

Not Bad, Not Great, But Acceptable

We chose this location due to its proximity to our destination.

There were two problems: 1. The door to our room was slightly askew and didn’t close on its own, which left our possessions in jeopardy before we realized that we had to pull it closed every time. 2. This place is too pet friendly. It smelled like a wet dog and didn’t give us confident it was the most sanitary place.

It definitely could have been better elsewhere.

The property was close proximity to the stadium where we needed to be.

When we originally booked on the website, the room necessities stated there would be a fridge and microwave in the room. Upon check in the lady told us that our room didn’t come with those items and that it is an additional $5 each night to have a room with those necessities in the room. She stated that the 3rd party which is this website hasn’t changed the description for these items not to be listed and they tell you at check in when it’s too late to make other arrangements elsewhere. Not to mention this past weekend everything was booked up due to state track meet. The elevator was old and very slow. The rooms have been updated somewhat but the hallways still have the old dated carpet that has the funny smell. If you are looking for fridge and microwave, make sure to call and ask before reserving.

Despite the tiredness of the inside, I love the outside setting and it was convenient for my particular needs

It set a ways from a busy road and was very quiet. It was surrounded by trees and had a nice courtyard for coffee in the morning. The outside was very pleasant

The inside is extremely tired. The front elevator wasn’t working when I arrived in later in my stay the back elevator was being worked on significantly. I’m OK with stairs but not everyone is. The paint was a need of upgrade and the shingles missing of the roof.

Lovely hotel, great staff and tasty breakfast

Hotel was perfect location for us to visit Sculpture Falls and Twin Falls. Sadly the falls were dry due to lack of rainfall but cant fault the hotel whatsoever. Jessie on reception was really friendly and helpful offering needed advice on driving with it being my first time on the roads out there! Breakfast was tasty and good selection of differnt bits. Really nice outside pool and seating area.

My only negative, and I knew this before staying, is no shops nearby to walk to - need transport.
