Hands down an EXCELLENT place to stay!

The customer service was AMAZING! We had initially reserved a room at Country Inn and Suites in Texarkana,TX, and they turned us away when we said we had service dogs and the rude woman at the desk actually had the nerve to ask me what my disability was and refused to let us stay at their hotel so we booked at the last minute with Candlewood and they were absolutely the opposite of Country Inn. They were professional, knowledgeable about service animals, friendly, and very welcoming. The level of service here was drastically better than other places that we have stayed in before.

There was nothing that we did not like! The room was great, spacious, had a full size fridge, stove, huge bathroom and the beds were super comfy!

The freg ice maker never worked. I told the staff and no one came to the room to fix the problem. It was 90-102 temperatures in Texarkana, Texas. I had to go down to the lobby where there was a snack area for hotel guest. The hotel had a freezer with ice that guest could pick up. I even picked up ice from the reception area staff. The bathroom sink hot water level never was hot. It was barely warm water. I used the kitchenette sink for hotter water to wash my hands, wash my face and brush my teeth. The hotel staff could have moved me to different room but they didn't offer. These things should not happen to hotel guest.

While there were challenges my overall experience was good. Staff was excellent and if I were in the area I would stay

The room itself was very nice, comfortable, and clean. There were numerous areas to walk my dog. Loved the free coffee bar along with a lot of “oops I forgot” products for purchase. Staff was excellent!

I was sad to see my dogs bowl covered with ants upon waking up. Yikes! While there were numerous areas to walk my dog, it was also covered with cigarette butts. Maybe a few receptacles would help. Also, if you are driving a large truck/trailer the available parking is almost nonexistent.

Disappointing. Especially for the price.

The location was convenient with plenty of area for walking the dogs. Had a kitchenette and the room was large and well laid out. Parking was ok.

There were pubic hairs in the bed. When we notified the front desk, they gave us clean sheets to remake the beds ourselves. They told us they didn't have any new room to move us to.

The place was clean, and the staff went above and beyond. I appreciated that so much. I will be staying there again next time I'm in town. I can't recommend this place enough. Plus, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home.

No breakfast at this location :( But given the cleanliness of this place, i probably would of skipped it.

My room did not have a good lock, the deadbolt did not work. there was a huge gap on the door. Although the door did lock from the outside, the lock did not look secure properly. i lodged the chair between the door and the wall. the room was decent but not very clean. the doors were filthy looked like a mechanic had touched all the doors on my floor. The walls had bad smudges all over by the bed, by the recliner, on the walls in the bathroom. doorknobs had hair. like they used the same dirty rag to wipe down everything ( If they even wiped down)

The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The location was excellent.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the privacy curtain was peeling in spots and light was shining through it. So, my room did not feel very private, especially at night.

Nothing I didn't get to stay, nor have I gotten my refund either. It never stated on booking .com that they didn't take certain kinds of credit cards. So when I arrived there and the tenneiant said that I couldn't , it was kind of upsetting to say the least.
