Best overnight stay of the trip

Best overnight stay on our trip from Katy TX to Branson MO and back.

It is not too easy to get too until you find it but the three-way Interstate junction has created the problem.

Terrible stay.

Breakfast was good. Kitchen staff was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable.

Some of the staff at check-in were rude not concerned about our services and took unnecessary steps in keeping already reserved rooms accounted for. Gave one male family member a hard time with his room saying he had to re check in every night when his reservation was already scheduled and paid for in advance; In doing so they gave him a room that a female already had and she screamed hysterically upon his entrance. Elevators dirty, rooms weren't being cleaned when requested doing a weeks stay. Not to name more problems.

It’s a very nice motel and a great location. We usually stay at some form of Marriott and this one is in line with what they usually offer.

The air conditioning in the hallways apparently was broken and remained so all weekend long. Floor fans were set about to alleviate the heat, but there’s only so much a floor fan can do so walking in the hallways was unpleasant. The swimming pool was horrible. It was an indoor pool. It was so cloudy. You couldn’t even see the steps and the smell of chlorine was so strong. Your eyes burned. That needs to be rectified. I didn’t even try to swim. I was afraid the amount of chlorine would fry my skin off my bones.

Night front desk person and Deborah, the am cook. Both were very pleasant and hard working.

Room 133 needed updating. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The air unit flashed a blue light into the room constantly. And old rusty air units right outside the window were a terrible sight to see. At least put up a small fence or something. Way over priced.

Lisa at there front desk really made us feel welcome. Also lady attending breakfast buffet was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Great it was pet friendly.

EV charger would have been a plus. Guest laundry only had one washer and one dryer.

I was told the pool would be finished filling by Sunday morning before it is time to open if not the night before. By the time we left at 11 am Sunday morning the pool was still not open. My husband got a chocolate milk when we got our breakfast at the hotel & he was sick for 4 days afterwards. Throwing up over half the way home to Tennessee. We was not able to enjoy our way back home from Texarkana to do anything with him being sick. He was off work due to it being fourth of July holiday from Thursday til Wednesday & he was not able to enjoy that time off because of being sick after drinking the chocolate milk. Not a fun experience
