The room was beautiful. The canopy bed made it very romantic. The complimentary bottle of local wine, place cards with our names, the basket of goodies for our dog Emma, and all the little extras were what made it special. The breakfasts were great. My boyfriend had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and was a little freaked out at first but the hot tub and all the little extras had him totally comfortable by the next morning.
When we first arrived we asked if there was anyone else staying there and we were told no. But later that night we saw someone go into the next room and they had already been staying there.
The hot tub smelled like mildew. I didn't say anything after the first night and should have because the owner came and cleaned and fixed the issue.
The last morning the owners son walked into our room by accident while i was still in bed. That was a total shock. At that point we were the only ones staying there.
Maybe communication amongst the owners could have been better.
But all in all it was a great stay. I have already shared it with a few people.

Hot tub was ready to go and very relaxing. Comfortable room and lots of nice touches for the dog. Great breakfast with gluten-free option. Our second time staying there and we will go back again I'm sure.
Nothing comes to mind. Obviously there's not really anything you can walk to from the property but we knew that going in.

Didn’t realize our room had a private outdoor hot tub until we arrived. Breakfast was very nice out on the back deck. Ham and French toast with maple syrup and fresh fruit & frittata with chicken sausage, corn bread and waffles and fruit. Great location in the middle of the island so 20 minutes away from roche & Friday Harbor.
If you have a larger vehicle like a van or truck I suggest entering through the 2nd driveway as the first winds around trees.

We loved that Nancy greeted us and our dog Taz right away and welcomed us. Patrick made a beautiful breakfast each morning that was delicious. It was easy to come and go and for us that's great as we like to explore the places we go and are often in and out of the place we stay. The Inn was cozy and inviting with lots of little touches that make it great. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast vs. A regular hotel and it was lovely.
In the evening working the TV and getting a show to watch was difficult, but that was really our only issue.
