I booked this first and couldn't find a receipt. When I came they said I had two bookings. They deleted the old one and gave me the new one which was $65.00 more. I ask them about that and they said pricing had gone up. I wasn't too happy about the price.

Needs to be updated. Shower curtain was almost falling off. Paint chipped, the door was difficult to close. There were questionable people lurking on the night of the stay and the next morning.

A Safe Place to Sleep for Working People

The room was surprisingly large and clean. The bed was a bit soft, but I slept fine. Easy on/off of I-30. This is really a motel, with doors opening to the exterior. It felt safe though with a clientele of ordinary folks just looking for a place to sleep wile on the road.

As others have noted, the air conditioner was turned off, so it was very hot on arrival, but fortunately the room did cool down once it was turned on. I had low expectations for the breakfast, but even then I was disappointed with only 2 cold cereals (Raisin Bran & Frosted Flakes), coffee, hot cocoa mix, and juice offered. Plenty of other nearby breakfast options available.

We had our pups with us and it was also perfect for them with grass right out the front door. Also the other permanent guests staying with you were so friendly and helpful. Loved the staff, and their desire to make every guest feel welcome

This Super 8 was, by far superior to other Super 8's I've used over the years. Especially impressed with the exterior amenities, maintaining the grounds superior.

Ice Machine not working, but not due to the staff. Manager had it repaired, the the repairman did a poor job, causing it to fail again.

Priced like an average La Quinta, but the quality of a Motel 6

There wasn’t anything we particularly liked about this hotel.

Our “non-smoking” room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, there were burn marks on one of the coverlets, the free “breakfast” was a choice between two types of granola bars, the refrigerator was rusty, the floors turned our socks dark grey, and the wi-fi was so weak I was unable to do the work I had intended on doing during my stay. It was WAY overpriced for what we got. I’ve had good experiences in the past with Super 8 hotels, but this location was definitely not in the same league as the others.

Directions are terrible. I never saw a sign for Dell Road and as an out of towner could not find the motel. I finally called the desk and was told the motel was between Wendy's and Little Caesars. Very stressful
