A great place to stay

This is a lovely property to stay at - comfortable rooms, good breakfast and nice and quiet. Lovely check in staff at the counter. Good parking.

The only downside during our stay was that the elevators weren’t working. It wasn’t a problem for us but some guests would have struggled getting their luggage up and down the stairs.

I have stayed at several different Larkspur Landings. This one is below the usual standard

Hotel lobby and halls were dark and made you feel very unsafe. Hotel clerk was masked not speaking english very well making the atmosphere even more uncomfortable

Location

The fact that our door was difficult to open, blood on the wall, no hot water until the fixed it and then it was only warm. Broken faucet handles, not cleaned properly. Cigarette butts and trash ALL over the entries and yet staff had plenty of time to swipe away on their phones. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!!

Great that it has a kitchen, housekeeping needs better communication

I felt safe in the area and the hotel room (as a woman travelling alone), the bed was comfortable enough, it's nice to have a kitchen since I prefer to cook in than get takeout, and the gym had some weight equipment so I was able to workout (instead of only having treadmills).

When I arrived I was able to choose which floor I wanted to stay on, but when I went up to the room I discovered that it had not been cleaned yet and it was already 4pm. I went back down to reception where they apologized and assigned me to a different room on another floor that thankfully had been cleaned. I don't know why they thought that room was ready when the cleaning staff was still multiple doors down from cleaning it, but it's certainly a communication issue that needs to be resolved as it left a very bad first impression and makes me less inclined to want to stay again in the future.

This particular Larkspur is my favorite hotel in Pleasanton. A hidden gem.

Very good

The included breakfast had hot food such as eggs, bacon, and pancakes. We liked that the kitchen had a large dining table, full sized refrigerator, microwave, and a stove range. The kitchen cabinets had dishes/cups, some pots and pans, and a toaster.

Maybe have more towels (there were 4 of us but only 3 sets of towels). Although, when we asked for more towels, the staff gladly gave us some more.

the staff was pleasant and helpful

the property is pretty dated, and room furnishings not very comfortable. The parking lot not laid out very well and had to fight for parking with chick-fil-a customers.

Will not go back

No hot water first day. had to take a cold shower. My son opened up the sofa bed and the mattress had a large red stain and very dirty. He had to sleep on the sofa. Housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the room. Went to throw away something in bathroom and trashcan was full from previous guests.

An unsatisfying experience, which will ensure that my family never stays at the property again.

The property was close to the freeway and some options for food nearby.

Staff could have been more friendly and more welcoming, as well as more accommodating of simple requests (like an extra blanket) without seeming like we were asking for an act of congress. The room should have been stocked with necessary supplies, like towels and washcloths, and the lamp/bulb assembly should not have been broken. The refrigerator sounded like a generator, making it hard to sleep for those on the sofa bed.

great value and phenomenal staff

Always a good bang for my buck. Great price for solid room in a good location next to a few places to eat. Staff is one of the highlights, everyone has always been friendly and helpful. I really appreciate Kevin at the front desk this weekend. I man sitting outside his car in the parking lot was blasting Spanish music at 3am and woke me up. I called the desk and Kevin went to ask them to turn it down which they did and I was able to get some back to sleep. thanks so much Kevin for taking guests sleep seriously

I like the quietness was pretty clean I stayed there from Thanksgiving day 2 night but since I was so comfortable i paid 1 more day on saturday and checked out on sun but still stayed there in my boyfriends room intil this Monday since he's staying there working for ICON construction..very Happy stay at pleasanton landing..Thanks

Just that no one came to do room service..but it's ok I took extra trash bags and I did borrow a vacuum from the cleaning lady she was nice..but y really enjoyed staying there

the location was good

the front desk was in a bad mood at check in and check out. the carpets are dirty through out the property. the overwhelming smell of curry in the hotel and room was very intrusive. the staff and cleaning crew was rude.
