The room was clean, but the service was very disappointing. I arrived from India with three large suitcases, and the front desk staff were unwelcoming and offered no help, leaving me to carry everything to my room alone. Having experienced far better hospitality at the DoubleTree in Gurugram, this property in the States felt cold, indifferent, and below the brand’s standards.

For a hotel that is supposed to represent a well-known brand, the lack of basic courtesy and support was unacceptable. I expect at the very least a warm greeting, an offer of assistance with luggage, and staff who show they care about the comfort of their guests. Sadly, none of that was present during my stay here.

Honestly, the only thing I liked about this hotel was the outside seating area and the pool.

To start off with, upon getting to our room after checking in, we walked into our room only for it to have the most horrendous smell 🤢 when I let the front lobby know they moved us to another room, only for the AC in that room not work. After multiple times of trying to get it to turn on I called the front desk and told them. The lady told me “it takes awhile for it to turn on” I didn’t know it takes longer than 30 mins for it to “turn on” which it never did! Mind you it was 95+ degrees outside so the room was hot! At this point I was beyond disappointed, my kids were frustrated, this was by far the worst first experience we’ve had staying at a hotel.

Aesthetically pleasing. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Staff was eager to make our stay enjoyable. Handicap parking is user friendly. The bar was open until 9:30 pm. The breakfast buffet was nice but I chose the eggs benedict florentine which was perfect! Property was immaculate. It's only a block from Costco, In-N-Out Burger and Chick-fil-A. I booked through bookings.com and our pricing was very decent! We spent New Year's Eve there.

Room was large and comfortable. It was pouring rain and we were early, but they let us check in with no additional fee, which was appreciated. We were attending a party 10 miles away, and were able to take side streets instead of having to hop on the freeway.

The view was of the rooftop with the mountains in the background. A better view would have been nice but we didn't ask for one specifically, so not the hotel's fault.

Breakfast was tasty and filling with several healthful options.

I had carne asada nachos at the restaurant for dinner and they were messy and too fried. I would not order that again. Also, the lights in the bathroom were too dim for me.

I enjoyed the pool area and the staff and employees were all friendly and accommodating. I felt like royalty! The hot oatmeal chocolate chip cookie made my night!

The food was not good at all. I was disappointed In the quality of food and beverages. I wish there was music at the pool area and restaurant/ bar. It would really bring the place to life.

The reason I picked this hotel is that the Hotel amenities stated that it was a gym on-site, well this was not true this hotel partners with a gym in the same parking lot as the hotel. I had my 6 and 8year old grandchildren with me when I checked into the hotel the front desk staff told me the gym had a child care to care for my grandchildren while I work out. The next morning when I walked 2 minutes to the gym with my 2 grandchildren we arrived at the gym to be told I had to pay 25.00 per child that's 50.00 and I was confused as to why this was not stated on the hotel's website nor when I checked in. When I spoke to the hotel's manager she said she was going to adjust my room rate. Which when I checked out Sunday morning my room was not adjusted because I went through a 3rd party. And when I asked to speak to a manager the front staff said that all the managers were off and that a manager will contact me on Monday by phone or email. This was very upsetting because I work out 6 days a week and this was not ok. I want to see if Booking.com can work with Doubletree to adjust my rate and give me a partial refund.

at night, the hvac was super loud. I am not really fussy so for me to say something about it, means it’s an actual issue. kept me up and the second i turned on the lights and got out of bed (4:30am), it stopped 😹
