The room was clean, modern with both room and bath that was obviously recently remodeled. Very reasonable price for this small motel ($80.00 total). A modern shower and sink, comfortable king bed, a desk chair, cabinet with drawers, large flat screen tv, micro and a good sized fridge with a large freezer section. The room is small, but worked fine for this solo traveler. The lady at the reception office, who appeared to be the owner, was very welcoming. She told me they had acquired the motel eight years ago and immediately began remodeling the entire motel. (Note, I had stayed here around 12 years ago and it was a dump. It is completely different now.) Coffee is not available in the room, but is available in the office. I’d recommend the Black Jack Inn.

Very cosy hotel, I stayed in a room on a first flor, beside the size of the room, which was not a point since I’m traveling alone, everything else is great. It was quiet, absolutely clean, everything seemed well maintained.

This is a small family owed motel. The rooms were updated nicely and the room was clean. It is located next to restaurants and shopping areas. We were able to leave our car parked and walk to get food.

Convenient, surprisingly quiet room considering location, helpful staff, self service Keurig coffee in the reception area (in the morning only), good bed, excellent shower, plenty of outlets, luggage rack (not always found in more pricey hotels), exit from parking requires some extra maneuvers.

Good value for money.

The location was great, plenty if restaurants and close to the lake (you need to pay to get to the beach). The bed was comfortable. There was coffee and tea in the morning, and free parking next to the room. Good value for money. The motel is near the road but it was quiet.

The toilet was dirty when we got there. There was no room for the bathroom, only a slide door.
