    Newly renovated and in the best location! The customer service was excellent. The driveways are well groomed during snow, which is a huge plus. If you're planning to visit Heavenly Resort, it's only a 6-minute walk to the gondola. They are also very quick to respond to any inquiries. We will definitely be coming back! Best value for top-tier service.

    This hotel seems to be a relatively new attempt at an upgrade to an older facility. It has new, attractively decorated guest rooms, but it still falls short on too many things to be given a rating over 2 stars. The bathroom is small. This is not a surprise as the previous structure restricts the ability to solve the space problem, but in order for it to be considered worth additional stars, the size is a problem. For example, the sink is a standard single sink. It therefore has no room for guests who are traveling, to put out their bath needs. Perhaps a banjo top that extended over the toilet would have been a better idea. Also, there is a nice coffee maker, a microwave and a small refrigerator (no freezer unit). However, there are no plates, no untensils, no napkins and no paper towels. There are some cheap plastic utensils in the type of plastic bags that you get at fast food restaurants. This does not meet the type of amenities expected in the hotel that this attempts to emulate. The bedding is good. The TV is set up only for streaming, and, again, although the unit itself is quite nice and large, it does not have the types of live services that one would expect. You have a very limited number of live stations, no CNN, no MSNOW. Instead, there are a series of streaming apps that you have to register for, assuming you have accounts with them. The owners are not present. They need to be contacted by phone. Check in is accomplished via an online portal, which did not work for us. We needed to speak to them directly by phone to get into our room. Our overall opinion is that this hotel should never be rated higher than 2 or maybe 3 stars. With some attention to details, the owners could easily improve this hotel.
