We stayed at the Gondola Lodge for our first stay in Lake Tahoe in late August and couldn’t have had a better experience. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom appeared recently updated. There was a pull-out couch, but if using both beds the room would be very tight. We also used the outdoor amenities and enjoyed! Quick walk down to the beach, and even quicker walk to Heavenly Village shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Falsely advertised as having air conditioning. Apparently they have portable ACs but we weren’t supplied any. We left early as the room was too hot. They still kept our money. There’s a reason they repeatedly ask you to take travel insurance coz they their property isn’t up to par.

My family loved the lodge specially the jacuzzi. They enjoyed it. Spacious. Had a full kitchen. The floors were dusty though and probably the kitchen needs new dishes. Overall loved it.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The kitchen was perfect for my husband and I. We had a fireplace that kept us warm. The only thing I would say I wasn’t crazy about was how cold the bathroom was but it wasn’t horrible. Our neighbors upstairs were loud but they were better on night 2. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Ms Jennifer and Aria made sure our rooms and overall stay went as smooth as possible as it was very last minute because our initial reservation (at Worlmark) canceled on us a few hrs before check in time . We were so glad we stayed at Gondola Lodge instead. The location was absolutely fantastic and our connecting rooms worked great. Their kitchens were bit tight, but had everything we needed to prepare meals. Their strict quiet policy was greatly appreciated, it was very peaceful. We'll definitely come back for our Summer trip and recommend this place.

Loved the proximity to the beach area and that we got discounted prices to the lakeside beach. The rooms were average. Nothing to hype up. The hot tub and pool were a little run down. My husband and I didn’t want to get into it. But my kids had fun playing there.

Location was perfect, close to everything. The hotel was interesting. Never saw staff at all. No check in person ( everything gate and door coded) If you didn't get parking inside the small parking lot enclosure, you parked outside the secured gate. The room itself, was not clean. The shower floor was dirty. I felt the need to wear flip flops in it. We changed the sheets after the second day as the ones that were on it smelled dirty. Window air conditioner was in the bathroom, so the bathroom was freezing and rest of place muggy. I probably won't come back to this place. The grounds were nice and pool looked nice.

This was our first time here. It was full the first couple of nights but quiet and able to park inside the gated area. The room was clean and everything worked. Nice little kitchenette that had all the basics, plenty of closet space to hang clothes, bed was comfortable, fireplace was nice, shower/tub combo with nice hot water with decent pressure and it had a back door off bathroom you could open to let air flow (opened to a patio we used to store our bikes). The manager checks in with you and is reachable via text or phone call. I asked if there was laundry facilities and they responded quickly. They have two sets of washer/dryers, one upstairs, one downstairs. The manager on site was very kind and personable. It is also walking distance to everything, shopping, restaurants, etc. We had a great experience staying at the Gondola lodge and we’ll definitely be back again.

Thanks to John, who was on-site and provided pliers upon request, we were able to fix our chains and get them onto our car tires for the snowy road conditions the morning of check-out. That’s probably not in his job description, so I appreciate Gondola Lodge going above and beyond. John was super responsive and friendly in person. Thank you!

This property was awesome! We stayed with 5 people and it was nice and close to all the things that we wanted to do! The rooms were clean, kitchen was nice, and living room was great!

There are lots of things to like about this studio. It has nice, modern appliances. Outstanding location a block away from the gondola, shops, and restaurants. Close to a large grocery store. Lots of utensils and cleaning supplies in the kitchen. The staff is extremely helpful and quick to respond to my needs. It’s a great policy to have a quiet time after 10:00. No disturbance from neighbors. The problem is there’s too little space. The entryway is too small to remove ski boots and gear without getting the floors all dirty. (The broom and dustpan they provide is not enough.) There’s barely enough space to store one set of skis and boots. There is not enough space to store two. There’s no dresser cabinet. Instead, there’s cubby holes hanging in a closet that are too small for one person’s 6 days of clothes. (They do have washer dryer facilities and have provided detergent.) This leaves insufficient horizontal space for a helmet or wet gloves to dry. The dining table is too small, and it’s hard to navigate the chairs around the sofa bed and ottoman. One suggestion would be to replace the sofa bed and two of the three end tables with a dresser and comfortable chair. This would add horizontal space and free up space in the closet for storage. It would make the table and chairs easier to use. Of course, removing the sofa bed eliminates a sleeping option, but this studio is too small for two skiers or boarders, even if they share the same bed.

Photos of room are deceiving. The room is MUCH SMALLER than a standard hotel room. There is NO PLACE to store clothing or anything for that matter. The unit relies on fireplace heat making the bathroom FREEZING!
