Memorable Stay

I recently spent a weekend at Alpine Inn & Spa in South Lake Tahoe, and overall, it was a very “bang-for-your-buck” experience. The location is absolutely one of its strongest points — right off Stateline Avenue, within walking distance of the casinos, restaurants, and the lakeshore. When we arrived, check-in was smooth and the front-desk staff was genuinely friendly, which set a positive tone right away. Our room, while modest and a little dated, came equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker — nice budget-friendly touches that made our stay more comfortable

We stayed last night and were very disappointed to discover that our tv was non functioning. Upon contacting the front desk both last night and this morning nothing was done to remedy the situation. In fact the man this morning was very rude to my husband when he approached him about it.

Was perfectly located, near the lake and town!

Everything was really good but once we turn on the AC my allergy started badly!! I think filters need a cleaning maintenance ASAP, I had to take a walk and wait to return our room.. and avoided turning on again, But overall.. for the price, was good!

Not the place for us!

Location

The facility is old and run down. We could not stay there for the price Booking.com was charging us. Overrated! Said breakfast was included. They said they hadn't served breakfast in years! Big disappointment!

An easy walk to Harvey's Outdoor Amphitheater

Alpine Inn – Lake Tahoe, California I booked a stay at the Alpine Inn for two nights. Unfortunately, our experience was very unpleasant. On the first night, we woke up with itching and discovered a significant bed bug problem. We requested a room change around 1:00 AM and moved to a room on the second floor, but the issue persisted. At that point, we had no option to move to another hotel, so we decided to cut our trip short and drove back home to East Bay, about three hours away. The presence of bed bugs not only ruined our stay but also caused us physical discomfort and stress. Overall, I would not recommend the Alpine Inn due to the serious bed bug infestation and lack of adequate response to the problem.

Awful, I do not recommend it

The facility was very worn down the rooms had mold in them, cracks in the walls, toilet paper dispenser off the wall. No soap. And there was something brown on the sheets. I don’t know if it was blood or something else. We checked in late and by the time I got in bed and noticed it everybody was gone.

Nothing. And the pool and hot tub were murky.

Booked here because of in room jetted tub. Across the street from concert, food right up the street.

Place is old, so they do the best they can. Remote for TV didn't work, could not get us a working 1. They didn't seem to be prepared to be busy on a Sunday night.

the location was excellent for the event and people we were there for. It was nice to be across the street from the concert venue, but only because we happily liked the artist (this explained the very high price for this very bottom of the barrel place).

The office staff was unfriendly, rude, unprofessional and unavailable except for strict check in and check out times. Otherwise the doors were locked with a sign saying, "Do not knock on the door, the window, ..." Their attached room was a mess, and they were clearly unhappy with their jobs or life. The male/husband? is a liability and has anger issues. The staff cleaning the place, however, were friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would recommend. Fantastic location and a heck of a lot cheaper than other properties during our stay.

Though a little dated, the room was comfortable and very clean. The location was spot on - across the street from the amphitheater and within walking distance to most everything! It was awesome that we got to see Hozier on Thursday and then hang out in the chair lifts on the lawn and listen to Friday’s show - 2 for 1!!!!

Bathroom was super tiny and not a lot of space for 2 women to put all their crap -LOL! Parking was tough - and someone scraped up the side of SUV with their bumper because of it… not cool!

Fun and convenient

I liked where its location was, and i loved that they prvided a microwave because you can never go wrong plus the mini fridge. And the front desk guy from SF is very nice greate customer service!

I feel they could upgrade the bed sheets and assemble the bathroom better, and the light in our closet wasnt working. I just feel it could have so much more potential.
