Hotel Becket, BW Signature Collection

Breakfast was wonderful and plenty; location is very convenient for shopping, close to beaches by a car; the room is clean, spacious.

Insolación, staying on the first floor has its consequences- no view, and loud stumping by upstairs neighbors.

Shower was extremely small, in a small corner not much room to move.

The location is definitely the biggest selling point of this hotel. You're within walking distance of Heavenly Village, restaurants, shops, and other South Lake Tahoe attractions, which made it easy to leave the car parked and explore the area. The breakfast was modest but good, with enough options to start the day. The room was comfortable enough for our stay, and the staff we encountered were pleasant.

Parking was the biggest frustration. While parking is only $10 per day, the lot became extremely overcrowded. On multiple occasions, even the entrance area near the lobby was blocked with vehicles. The layout of the property is also inconvenient. If you're staying on the Park Avenue side, there is no direct walkway through the middle of the property to reach the lobby. You have to walk around the tavern, which becomes annoying when carrying luggage or returning from a long day. A connecting pathway between the buildings would greatly improve accessibility. Guests staying on the second floor should also be aware that there is no elevator, so you'll need to carry luggage up the stairs. Small shower, shower head not easily adjustable. No bar soap provided.
