I liked the General Manager. She was nice even though the hotel was terrible.
Well let’s see. The bar is closed(no staff). The pool is closed. The rooms have rust in the tubs, and the first room I was in the bed smelled like cheap men’s cologne. The breakfast is pay only. The restaurant is closed. The movie theater across the lot is boarded up.

The staff and accommodations were great as expected.
It cost $75 for a pet to stay no matter the length. We stayed one night and had to pay the $75. This is an extremely high amount. Most places charge 20 to 35 dollars.

Had to wait in line 20 minutes to get checked in by a very overwhelmed woman. It was VERY busy and the poor girl was working alone and definitely needed more help. We left to get dinner after our 6 hr drive there and upon returning to the hotel we discovered that the elevator had stopped working and were informed the stairs were inaccessible (how is that legal?? What if there was an emergency in stairwell??) We were stuck waiting in the lobby with about 30 other guests for over an hour until another guest figured out how to get in the stairwell and we could get back into our room with out cold food. Horrible experience. Also the pool was down.

We arrived to find the pool was out of service and we would not have booked had we known. They refused to refund, booking.com also has refused to issue a refund and we had to pay for a room elsewhere. I guess customers do not matter.

It was comfy and found a cleaning issue and spoke with night staff and then spoke with the morning staff about the issue! She offered me a free breakfast but I don’t eat breakfast. She did take 10% off my bill but I felt if the issue I had with cleanliness what else didn’t get clean! It really disgusts me!

Bar closed because bar tender was a no-show!
Breakfast: We walked in at 10:01 and the manager said in a firm voice “Breakfast closes at 10:00!” I explained my frustration and your manager said “BREAKFAST CLOSES AT TEN”!
Good customer service, in my opinion, would have been “Hey come on in the buffet is still set up sorry for the inconveniences you have experienced.

It was beautiful
First off, when I looked for a hotel I had the filter for having breakfast and an indoor pool. We did not get breakfast. Our room smelled of urine, front staff was mildly rude, wifi was terrible, had to get our own towels from the lobby (leaving 4 kids unattended in the mean time-my husband said I should have just let them drip all the way back to our room). The dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner were terrible and I absolutely love that brand! But something was off with it like it was watered down or lotion or something, it was just weird. And it was so much more pricey compared to other hotels, I was just told that holiday in was better. I will not be choosing holiday in or possibly booking.com because it was disappointing to see that I paid for a room (a more expensive room) and specifically asked for breakfast and not get it.

Location and “pet friendly”
$75 pet free and if you think that’s a lot you can’t really cancel because there is no refund for your stay. Sour desk clerk that didn’t show up until there were 4 people waiting and she looked annoyed. Clock/sound machine in room was from the iPod era. Bar not open because bartender fired. Refrigerator in room didn’t work. Overall unpleasant experience. Won’t be back.

Booked this hotel to be able to use the indoor pool.
Indoor pool was closed an hour early. Was told that the reason was because it was raining. Front desk staff were unfriendly. I had to go to each floor to find a luggage cart.

Reserved a king bed but was put in a queen (2) and when questioned was told it was all they had but I reserved a king so there should have been a king available but other than that it was great

The location is great with so much nearby, the room we got to house all 5 of us was huge, so it was a nice change of scenery from being in the car for 12 hours together.
The staff when we checked in were nice but needed trained just a little bit more. I'm assuming they were new, due to asking a question and they have to find someone else for the answer.

The shower needed to be cleaned more an we can hear the people next to us the covers had a weird smell also. Got the executive king suite an I feel like I paid more for really just the kuerig other than that nothing special at all you could hear everything walls are thin😶

We were able to get another room since the first room was smells horrible. The helpers at breakfast area was so nice and helpful.
During check in, the lady said we don’t have booking. She said maybe its on holiday inn express. Then my husband said he was pretty sure we’re in the right hotel. Then I showed to her the booking reservation. Then she finally got it. But it took a while because she said that someone could have given our room to other guest. We had a looong day and the wait was unpleasant. Then the room she gave was smells so bad. So I came down and give us another room. It’s better but I wouldn’t want to stay in this hotel.
