The Property was ok. It was clean and had the basics. Older hotel and good for a night’s stay.
Pet surcharge deposit in addition to the per night fee and the length of time it’s taking to receive my deposit back. For this reason I will not stay at this location again.

Not a single thing!
Absolute horrid and the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. I arrived a little after 5pm for my stay and had to leave immediately for an event at the little Cesar’s arena. My mom stayed back at the hotel with my baby and contacted me not long after leaving telling me she wanted to leave because of how disgusting the room was. It was filthy and there was mold in places. I couldn’t do anything about it with the fact that I spent over $800 to attend this event so I said I’d look at it and decide when I got back. After seeing the condition I immediately wanted to leave and get my baby out of there. I talked to the front desk lady who was on shift and she seemed shocked that the room looked like that and took pictures to show her boss because I wanted a refund, I didn’t get back from my event until just before 12am, I had been up for 22 hours already and now had to make a 3 hour drive home because of the incident. She offered a new room but after walking through the halls and examining it more we could tell the whole hotel was just filthy and not taken care of so we wanted to leave. She gave me a number to call with a time and day that the boss would be in but when I contacted, I was refused a refund because ‘we had already stayed for a few hours’ when my mother was literally stuck there with my baby with no car or a way to leave until I could get back. Inexcusable and very poor customer service. Never in my life have I had such a terrible experience! I wish I could attach more than 4 photos because there’s a lot!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was very quiet in the evening. But it is in an industrial area and became very noisy in the morning.

The breakfast was pretty good, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was helpful and very friendly.
The floors were not very clean. The building itself is not in great shape. Lots of cheaply done work it seems. Ill-fitting doors. And we heard everything from the room next door, so little privacy.

Good price for the money. Good location near my destination.
The room was fine, but the heating/cooling system was old and kind of noisy, so I turned it off. Annoyingly, the free breakfast ended at NINE on a SUNDAY. so when I came down at 9:30 I had missed it.

Front desk staff was nice/professional
Doesn’t match the pictures I saw online, smelled like cockroaches (didn’t see any though).
A few questionable guests staying there; one I had such an uncomfortable encounter with, that I checked out early. I felt very unsafe and it takes a lot for me to say that.

The location and size of the room were as expected.
The decor with photographs of local landmarks was lovely.
The hyigene products dried my skin out, and it was difficult to get into a lather
The carpet throughout the building in the hallway and elevator smells unpleasant
There are no usable staircases except though labeled for emergency use only, so you must wait for the one and only elevator to be available.
The continental breakfast was disappointing. The baked goods tasted off as well as the provided milk. The only thing edible was the waffle.

The facility was clean and the staff was kind.
The facility was a bit dated.

The property was very clean and comfortable. All employees were very kind and helpful with any questions.
There wasn’t a book or paper in the room telling you about the location of the ice machine or a guide for the tv. It would also be nice to list some places of interest close to the hotel.

The ONLY nice thing I can say is, Kathy the front desk receptionist was ok. First and foremost!! I booked this room on booking.com and paid in full. I chose this hotel because of the price and it was only 19 mins from the venue I was attending the next day. I brought my teenage children with me as well. With that being said, after I booked with a no refund policy, I saw reviews that were very concerning but I tried to remain positive as I already paid my money. When we pulled up to the hotel, there was construction on the road, people outside smoking, the area looked sketchy with motels on both ends. Walking in felt dirty, Kathy the front desk receptionist did greet us and was kind but I hate when I hand people items and they bypass my hand and place it on the counter……anyways, we got to our room and OMG! It looks nothing like the pics! It was dirty, gloomy, the furniture looked like they picked it up off the road! The refrigerator was leaking water on the inside, the BEDSHEETS HAD DRIED BLOOD AND STAINS ON IT!! Yes you read that right! I phoned down to the front desk and spoke to Kathy. She stated she wanted to come look at it. She came up and immediately stated “oh that’s hair dye.” Mind you! The blood was on the side of the mattress zip cover and the bed skirt on both beds were suspect! (See pics) Kathy offered a new bed sheet. Once she gave us the bedsheet, I felt absolutely disgusting staying there! I’m an ER nurse and I know what dried blood looks like! I found more blood on the curtains, dried blood spots on the AC unit, there were stains on the walls, the bathroom door was disgusting!!! The only nice thing about the room was the bathroom upgrade but that wasn’t enough to make me stay there with my kids. We went to dinner and I immediately found a new hotel 8 mins away! We went back and got our bags and left! When returning the key cards, Kathy said, “are you checking out?” I stated “yes.

Nothing.
The rooms were dirty. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana. We didn’t have access to the shower for over 24 hours due to some construction issue.

What I liked...The room was very clean, modernized with comfortable beds and the floor was quiet during my entire stay. The Detroit city murals that adorned my room and the hallways were lovely. The overall first time experience was a good one and I will return again next year when I come back to attend my family's reunion.
What I didn't like....(1) The view from my 4th floor room wasn't the best as it overlooked an empty adjacent parking lot. (2) I really would've appreciated a coffee maker in the room also! (3) It was inconvenient having to go to the lobby each time I wanted to have a cup or so! (4) Finally...the housekeeper entered my room while ignoring the "Do Not Disturb Sign" hanging on the outside doorknob. She discarded what she thought was rubbish but wasn't actually. I returned back to the room to discover it was gone sadly.

Older property but clean. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Continental breakfast was good.
Massive construction was going on all around the property. It made it hard to find at first. Construction workers started early. A/C in my room was noisy.

The room was clean and comfortable. The person who checked us in and out was extremely nice and efficient. Despite the construction on the street in front of the hotel, it was quiet and not difficult to get around Lots of parking. Great location for going to the Motor City Irish Festival. Five minutes from I275 and 15 minutes from the Greenmead Historical Park.
The breakfast was the usual motel meal, adequate but not great.

Low water pressure, the shower was trickling, nothing but dirty water. The sink was spitting out dirty water as was the toilet. It was very disgusting. I tried letting the water run to see if the water pressure would build up and the water would clear but it didn't.

The young lady that greeted us at the desk was very pleasant and conducted herself in a business manner. The over all night at our room was not pleasant the room was not clean. Residue from previous guest stay was left on the freig handle, table on the desk at the nightstand, the bathroom has mode all on the walls, unhealthy for my son as well as anyone to be breathing in. The sink did not look as though it has been cleaned for months.the white bathroom door was covered in dirt. Nasty Nasty Nasty!!! Black residue crust all around the crease of the sink kept falling into the clean water as I'm using it. Unhealthy Unhealthy Unhealthy. I checked out that next morning at 11am. Did not want to experience another day in the filth. I made it to my room at 11ish that night and checked out 11 am that next morning. My stay was booked for 3 nights. I am waiting for my refund for two days that I refuse to allow my family to experience. Who would be happy to spend an out of state visit as a guest and subjected to pay for it.
Very uncomfortable and unpleasant stay at the Days Inn

Room was clean and comfortable. A lot of good space. Bathroom was nice and clean as well.
I arrived late to the property. I was able to check in around 8pm. I went to go grab something to eat for dinner and arrived back at the property right around 1030pm and wanted to get to bed. When I went to back to the room my key didn't work. As I was about to head back to the front desk, a lady(guest) and the front desk worker were walking toward me. She asked if this was my room and I told her yes. My key isn't working. She had a key on her that appeared to be the other guest key. When I went into my room, about 2 minutes later the front desk called and asked me to come down and that we don't have you signed in. When I arrived at the front desk, the issue was resolved. From my observation however, the lady guest must've been assigned my room, went to the room and saw that another person was assigned to their room. It was very disappointing that in a barely 2 hour time frame that my key didn't work, that these issues came up without me not even being at the property and that possibly another guest could've been in my room. I checked to see if anything was stolen and nothing was stolen THANKFULLY!!!
