Our experience weekend stay

The front desk staff was very welcoming and kind.

The pool was freezing cold and the bathroom and tile floor in our room was disgusting! When I called the front desk they assured me the housekeepers would come in and clean properly. When we returned all they did was remove a few hairs off the floor. Yet the mold on the shower curtain, hair and dirt in the tub, floors and on the toilet were not cleaned properly. I just gave up and used my own cleaning supplies since im a professional cleaner back home and cleaned the way it should be. The room itself wasn't bad other than the tables were dirty but I had to note at booking my child has health issues and the room needs to be tip top no dust or filth. But I have stayed at alot of hotels all over Michigan and this one was better of them all. Even though my advise I know won't be honored still I'm going to give it to the owners and staff; please double check your employees work and keep up on them for sanitation purposes and cleanliness. Also the pool temperature so we all can come and enjoy our stay fully.

Great, inexpensive place to stay in Livonia, Michigan

It was a great, inexpensive place to stay. Bed was comfortable, pool and exercise room were great, breakfast was good. Very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

I didn't like their coffee, too strong for me, so I went to Tim Horton's a few blocks away. Also, they have a smoking area right at the front entrance doors that they need to move. Horrible cigar smoke stinky!!

Clean but tried to steal money from my account

The breakfast had a wide variety and was fresh and good. The pool also was indoor and clean.

They put an unnecessary hold of $105.42 on my card and won’t release it. When I asked them at the front desk why they held that much they told me it is standard to charge $50 per night for security deposit but that’s not what the online policy says. I spoke with Marriott and they said they should’ve only held $60 at the most. That the policy is they only hold $100 if I’m paying cash and they wouldn’t let me pay cash. They only took card. It’s been 2 weeks and they still won’t give me the money back. Marriott had to file a case and are doing an investigation because what I was told the day of check in is completely false. They should’ve only charged me $354.58 and put a hold of $50 additional bringing the total to $404.58 but they put a hold for $460 and they didn’t have a record down. Something isn’t adding up and that’s what they said when I had to call corporate and report this. I now have to wait 30 days if it isn’t resolved. I will never stay here again.

Very clean and updated rooms, an in door pool, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast did not offer a good selection only cereal and maybe oatmeal and eggs, we paid for a room with breakfast, however we ate out.

Came in for a family event and enjoyed this as a home base for multiple families who stayed in same hotel.

It was very clean and had fresh decor, had a pool which I didn’t use but family staying in the same hotel enjoyed, great variety of breakfast options and wonderful sitting area with plenty of room. Young man who checked us in was very polite. Also, they have TWO working elevators - so convenient when moving out in the morning!

Oasis in weather emergency

Stayed her last minute due to area power outage; made reservation on line. Hotel is less than 1/2 hour from home, but it had heat and we were happy! The ladies at the front desk were amazing, considering the crazieness of the moment. I was concerned at first about the huge number of kids there to use the pool, but am happy to say our room was pretty quiet. King room was tiny and sparse, but had what we needed. No frills, that's for sure!

Lots of people wandering the parking lot at night with no apparent security. Prime area for crime, lots of hotels all grouped together with no oversight. I wouldn't even think of this except we just had a mass shooting at MSU, an hour away Hotel is not well marked and hard to find if you aren't from the area. Signage is poor. Once you get to the area, there are many hotels grouped together sharing parking lots.

location signage needs to be more visible. had to meander through an apartment complex. no address or street sign where one must turn and sign was small and not lit (i noticed next morning as i passed by it). should be much larger. very difficult to navigate and its on the back side of what looks like an industrial park.
