Bed was good. Got a decent night sleep. I have stayed at other Best Westerns which have been good.

The breakfast, if you could call it that, was abysmal.

Quality was just not good. Food disappeared as soon as it was brought out. Person at the front dest was also responsible for the food.

It was eight minutes away for my workplace

When checking in I received a 30 minute delay with conversations about the front desk personal life. I had to ask her if she gave me my room card which she didn’t. I had to then change rooms because I was checked into a handicap room which she did switch the rooms with no problem once I got back to the room Saturday night the TV wouldn’t work. I had to call someone down for that. they didn’t answer the phone so I had to go to the front desk when I walked to the front desk. The reason why they didn’t answer the phone because they were standing there having a whole personal conversation and away from the desk this morning. I walked my bags out to my car at 10:30 check out was at 12 PM. I was outside for 10 minutes. I walked back into my room and the cleaner was already in there and my stuff had been moving on top of my checkout, being horrible. The refrigerator in the room had pop stains inside the door. As if the room was not thoroughly clean when I went to the front desk to ask for my items, a lady that I thought was a man asked me who I was talking to cause I asked her to give me my items that was out of 146 she became so Personal with how she was talking to me. It is a must that I report this on all channels. Her behavior makes me uncomfortable with even sharing my personal information with hotels because her character and the way she handled things she can do anything with my information and not a good feeling to have. I will never book a room with the Livonia Best Western again. I did not get an opportunity to take pictures because I was going to leave it alone and just make my mind up to not come back to the location, but I wish I would’ve had an opportunity to take pictures so that you can see.

Perfect Budget Family Friendly place to stay.

The breakfast was good and changed some aspect daily. The beds were nice, the temperature in the room was perfect and was adjustable. The pool was clean, not too cold or warm, and fun! It was a perfect budget stay for our family of 4 for a week. And its within walking distance of 2 good restaurants, and within a 5 minute drive to the nearest 24 hour pharmacy which came it VERY handy. Would, and probably will, stay here again in a heartbeat.

I really have no complaints.. the wifi was a little in and out but thats to be expected. And the pool towels(THAT THEY PROVIDE) were comically small.. but honestly, if thats the worst part of the stay... I think we can manage lol.

Everything was fine except the screw up with Booking.com. as stated above.

friendly front desk clerk and everything was clean and beds comfortable.

Front desk told me that I had reserved 2 rooms through Booking.com. I didn't- only one. He told me to call Booking right away. I did, but you can't talk to anyone live. I typed a message to Booking and never heard back from them. Not the hotels fault, but I won't be using Booking.com anymore and probably not staying at this hotel again since they cant' give me the same lower rate as Booking.com can.

Great location for visiting several family members in area. Reasonable price raises this to a preferred stay location. Pool area was clean with good supply of towels. Good coffee.

Refrigerator door was difficult. Toilet paper was poor - flimsy. Facility showed wear and tear. Breakfast room became overloaded at times, and getting food could become difficult. Pancake batter was overly sweet and heavy.

Run down property and trash…. weeds everywhere, broken concrete, pool dirty and worn out, outside used maxi pad, mayonaise container, spoon at side entrance… no carpet in room, no phone charger hookups… entrance door propped open with staff outside in vehicle smoking weed… view from the room was hvac system…

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western and would defiantly choose to stay there again.

The bed and room were very comfortable. The room was clean and roomy. I really liked that we had plenty of towels for us to use for our stay. The breakfast items were very good and the staff kept the food replenished.

The pool was not as clean as I would have liked and there were no towels available for us to use at the pool.

Hard bed, not enough pillows, pillows too soft, faucet on hot tub almost fell off. Big crack in hot tub mirror. Toilet ran all night, too low to the ground. Has to kill a spider and large flying beetle. No drawers for clothes, nothing to put my open suitcase on, fridge door wasn’t secure.

Safe location & slept well, however, cleanliness, customer service and breakfast were lacking.

It was relatively quiet and felt safe. The shower was really large and the water pressure and temperature in the shower was more than sufficient. The breakfast area was pleasant and inviting.

The desk worker when we checked in obviously hated his job and made us and other family members that checked in that night feel like a big inconvenience. He bordered on rude. Room was not particularly clean. Dirty behind beds and the mattress was stained. Dirty behind doors and along edges of walls. Especially dirty behind bathroom door. I sanitized things myself and had to clean out the dirty refrigerator before putting in our food. Not enjoyable after a 10 hr trip. Breakfast options were limited. Almost no fruit the whole stay. Pancake machine was malfunctioning almost every time. Had to settle for a bagel instead.

Reliable Comfort with a Few Quirks

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, and I keep coming back for one main reason: the king room with the jet tub. It’s incredibly comfortable and the perfect way to unwind when I need a quick break. The location is also super convenient — easy to get to and close to everything I need. Complimentary breakfast is decent and does the job, nothing fancy but appreciated. Microwave and mini fridge in the room are a nice plus.

Overall, the staff is friendly and helpful, though I did have a less-than-great experience during my last check-in — the person at the front desk seemed impatient and a bit rude, which was disappointing given my otherwise good experiences here. Plus, if you’re a light sleeper, bring your ear buds with you. Noise can be an issue, depending on your room and who your neighbors are.

Convenient for a short stay

As a tired mom I booked the room with the jet tub for a relaxing weekend by myself without the kids and it worked perfectly well for what I was aiming for.

The rooms could get a renovation especially the carpets, they look run down. And there’s a very noisy fan that goes on and off all the time, luckily I had my ear plugs on for the night

The place was not cleaned properly. there were hair everywhere including on tables, beds, floor. kitchen appliances are so dirty. fridge has mold on it. the parking supposed to be free but the building charged $40.

The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they let me check in early with no problem or extra fees. The area felt safe and it was very quiet.

Not the hotels fault but the construction in front of the hotel makes it hard to turn into the parking lot of the hotel. If you didn't turn on the right spot you had to go back on the interstate and try again because of the construction.
