I didn’t know Marriott was now Motel 6

There was construction debris laying all over the property. Construction crews running about on Saturday and Sunday making extremely loud noises and machinery. Elevator didn’t work. Found rusty nails by front entrance. This felt like a Motel 6 not the Marriott. Furniture was scratched up and looked second hand.

Overall disappointing

We stayed here last year for this trip and had to be sent to another hotel after our first night due to a blown transformer/ fire and no power. This year we knew there were renovations going on and that was fine. However, our room had no couch or microwave, the outlets and bedside lamp did not work on one side of the bed, and there was nowhere to hang clothes. To top it off, the blasted fire alarm went off at 5:15 in the morning, causing everyone to have to evacuate, and come to find there wasn’t actually a fire. Extremely disappointed.

Unhappy

Not much. It was for only one night.

The staff was not very friendly to myself or my daughter when we made request about pull out linings in our King suites. My daughter had to sleep with all four of her children in the king because the pull out had no linens and the front desk could not provide any for us. We were told to wait till in the morning which we were checking out by then. There was an electrical issue and me and my husband's room and we asked to have our rooms switched and they weren't able to do that for us either. As the staff that evening was not very tentative to our needs at all. The infused water in the lobby had been sitting a while but there were no cups available. I stood by the water for the longest waiting for the attendant at the desk to give me her attention but she continued to look at her computer screen so I walked away. When I came back an hour later there was still no cups. I was also charged $210 and I'm not sure why because with taxes should have been $187.

The lady at desk was friendly and nice! She even made my niece happy when she asked her what room she wanted and she said next to the pool! And we got a pool room! Also the hotel was very clean.

The swimming pool needs to be bigger than what it was to satisfy the consumer better. Can't swim in a kiddie pool.

The bathroom was dirty with moldy showers and shower curtain liners. We had to keep waiting for Towels, due to staff forgetting to wash them. The ceiling was caving in.

Our 2nd floor room view was above the hotel front entrance overhang looking right at various air conditioning outside units. A better view would have been nice!
