A Horrible Nightmare. Paid and did not stay.

It was filthy nasty with roaches and spiders in and out of the bed. It had old trash in it and was just dirty.

It was frustrating.

Room wasn't ready when we got there at 4:15. We waited over 2 hours for our room to be ready. Even at that point, there were issues with our reservation. According to hotel, our payment had not gone through even though I had email confirmation through booking.com that it had, and also bank statement confirmation that the payment had been successful. To be fair, we were eventually given a room with 2 full beds when our reservation was just for a room with 1 queen bed. It was very obvious that the front desk worker was extremely overwhelmed and it seemed like the hotel was short-staffed. Also, the shower in our room did not work. Upon checkout, the payment issue was still unresolved and they said they would reach out to us at a later date.

I would not stay here again.

The fact that I was able to book a room that night.

My room, particularly the bedroom smelled like someone peed in the corner. It was very strong and hard to sleep but, I was too tired to go through the process of asking to move to a different room. I just suffered through. Also, the parking lot was very sketchy. I was able to park next to my room but, the cars next to me looked like they had been there for a while. Covered in bird poo and leaves.

They were able fix the issue of being double charged.

The room I originally booked wasn’t available so I was given two full instead of queens. I found dead roaches and bugs between the bed and wall. The towels were stained.

Disappointed

Bed was decent

1st room was actually already occupied , so they got us a 2nd room. It had such a strong bad odor ( moth ball smell) that we had to change again. The faucet was loose in tub , light bulb was not secure & flickering , noise was a little loud from frwy - frustrating .

Outdated but clean

Close to venue location for a Celebration of Life. It was out dated but clean. They had Dove body wash, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Palmolive dish soap and paper towels were in the kitchen. Refrigerator was full size and clean. Huge pantry! Iron and ironing board was provided with plenty of hangers.

We had the two room suite. No airflow to the second room. We had to sleep in the main area with the queen bed. Coffee maker and coffee supplied but no coffee cups. Actually, the only drink-ware was a small juice glass. We didn’t cook, but only one small pot was available. The only silverware we needed was a knife, they had 1, and it was dirty. The AC was very loud. If I can upload the video, please turn sound on to watch it. UPDATE: unable to upload video. But it did sound like a jet taking off next to the bed.

Not worth the money.

One room seemed like someone was smoking because they disconnected the smoke detector. There was not enough dishes in the room for 2. I was moved to a new room and had to get some utensils and towels from the front desktop right away. The next day my daughter and I got Stuck in the elevator for about 7 mins. When it finally opened we took the stares. The hotel over all was run down not kept up very well.

Rude. Disappointing. No confirmation of room even after reservation

Even though I booked a specific kind of room a month ago, on the day of checkin they allotedd my room to some one else and recommend me booking another hotelas they were completely occupied.I had to constantly request them to allot me the room as I was damn tired for the complete day and had made reservation a month ago. The Manager was rude and she was not ready to listen to the concern. Though they claim they were totally overbooked and cannot allot any other room, they were able to allot me room after making me wait for 2 hours. The experience was pathetic and disappointing. Would never recommend anyone to go here.

Quiet and clean close to Downtown Round Rock

Close to a lovely Downtown and several convenience stores, if you're unable to make your way to one of the local HEB's the nearby gas station is a great place to get some water and snacks for your first night (not that clean but it serves its purpose). The room was clean, no odor, comfy for two people staying for two weeks, great AC and kitchen facilities. Staff was very friendly and quick to assist with fresh towels or remagnetizing cards left next to a phone. Several very nice restaurants are within walking distance but the highway traffic (which IS audible from a facing room but not even louder than the AC), lack of clear crossing places and in my case the heat made an Uber an excellent choice for dining or shopping trips. The outlet mall a few miles away made for a lovely day out and Downtown has several bars and a great donut place. All in all a nice, quiet hotel with great room amenities and nearby venues.

The room could have used another chair (one armchair and one dining chair in a room for two people), a sponge or brush for hand-washing dishes and some more utensils in the kitchenette (no big problem, we picked up some plastic spoons and such our first trip to HEB).

I really enjoyed the room and the bed was the best!! One of those you don't want to get out of. They have a room to get snacks and drinks. I will stay there anytime I am in the Austin area.

Rude staff on afternoon shift dirty room!

We had reservations for over a month but when we arrived shortly after check in time we were told there was not a room available and they couldn't guarantee that there would be one. We did finally get to check in over an hour later. We were told, with very little tact or patience, that the problem was the cleaning crew was still cleaning and the rooms hadn't been checked. Yet, when we were finally given a room it was not clean there was paper on the floor and the bathtub had soap stains on it. Cannot really recommend this motel so much so that I will never book another Candlewood Suites if I have a choice,
