A bit saddened by the last stay

My boyfriend and I like to stay at this property due to the location and the amenities.

This past stay I’m guessing due to change in owner rang some alarms. The room they gave us was beat up. I don’t know why you guys section off certain areas of the hotel and renovate the damages in bulk. Our room was full of damage, more alarming was water damage. The location and building has a lot of promise, just a bit sad by this last stay.

A Hidden Gem

Very friendly, helpful staff. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice. They have a good hot breakfast buffet with a variety to choose from. No bacon while we were there though. The suite was really nice. Convenient location off the highway.

The bed in my room was sunk in the middle so it was not good for my back. There are no signs outside with their name so you won't know what it is just driving by.

Decent hotel

The hotel was beautiful in the main area.

I was excited to settle down after the concert and be able to order a movie off my prime or something and all there was was cable, would've been nice to be able to connect to my TV platforms is all with a smart TV or something. Also we went to visit the hot tub and the jets were just spraying straight up instead of down. Was a mess. 😅

The facility was disappointing from the moment I arrived. Not even a sign to find bldg.

Personal safe didn’t work, not able to use tub, all electrical sockets at bedside non-functional, hot tub just girgled and splashed and not hot. I felt I was paying too much for what I received in accomodations.

The front desk looked ok but that was about all.

Our first room was so dated, furniture looked like it had been around since the 1970’s, the wallpaper was curling off the walls and mold was visible through the cracks, the carpet was stained AND the room smelled like cigarettes so we went to the front desk to get a new room, they had no problem switching rooms for us…thankfully. We were hopeful as we walked down the dated hallway to our new room. Unfortunately the new room was worse than the first. It smelled like air freshener was sprayed just before we opened the door - it was not successful at covering up the musty, smokey, moldy smell. Again the furniture was dirty and dated. The water in the tap for the bathroom sink ran BLACK. It was beyond disgusting!! The wallpaper was curling off the walls, there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The bedding had literal holes in the duvet cover. We went to the front desk and told them we WOULD NOT be staying there. Fortunately we got a full refund.

The property was overall nice

The staff wasn’t friendly. We asked for towels for 2 days and got the run around and after finally stating their policy was that we return the old towels to get new ones we returned them and then was told we had to still waiting for towels they were in the dryer. The pull out bed was raggedy. The food catered for family ruin was horrible and burnt. Would not return. I had to ask for sheets and covers for the pull out bed I called down to the front desk and was told no I couldn’t get sheets sent to my room because they had people at the front desk when I came down to the front desk and asked for sheets I was rudly told they didn’t have none and I would have to wait on a manager after waiting 10 mins they went to the back and found some and they weren’t clean at all.

Front desk staff friendly, beds not great, pool and room were gross

It was fairly close to everything, glass elevator was cool and front desk staff was friendly.

Room was dirty. Empty soda bottle under 1 bed, box spring material on the other one was ripped at the bottom. Thermostat was pulled out of the wall, exposing wires for my children to possibly play with. Lots of dust in the room. There was a sticker that comes in new bathing suit bottoms on the floor from a previous female staying in there. Pool had green algae growing in it…the list goes on.

The hotel was very dirty in the pool area, I had to get a room change because the first room had a bug infestation on the tables, the second room air did not work. Breakfast food was terrible and they had old fruit out. Cleanliness was the worst part.

Enjoyable and worth it

Booked this hotel for spring break with my two kids. The price was worth it the hotel is beautiful and breakfast was very good. In a great location in the sense it’s not in a super busy area but not far from great lakes crossings and other popular attractions. We used the pool twice while we were there very clean pool area. The second night staff was all about regulating who was able to be in the pool which was helpful because soo many kids where in there. As far as the room goes, at first glance it seemed really clean besides a fork and hair clip under the bed, crumbs in the corners and webs in the corner of the bathroom floor just makes you question what’s actually done. But overall stay very enjoyable.

It was very conveniently located, and the bar staff was great.

There wasn’t any trash bins in the room except the bathroom. The fridge really could not hold any size food container. The pull out sofa beds weren’t that great. There weren’t any sheets on them and there were no extra in the bag with the blanket and pillow.

Not Worth the Stay Anymore

Housekeeping is a joke - the room we were checked into hadn’t been cleaned in over a week…the last person to clean it quit that day and didn’t finish the job. There were no garbage cans in the room, the comforter was torn up, the couch and floors had stains and the mattress for the sleeper sofa was stained and caved in when slept on. The replacement blanket for the bed had pee stains on it. Every person we talked to until check out put the blame game on someone else instead of resolving the issues. The breakfast ran out of food on the first morning and the next one had almost nothing out for breakfast. We always loved coming here but this was the last straw that broke camel’s back on this one.

Hilton should be ashamed

The hotel has the layout of a typical older Embassy Suites with a center atrium

The whole stay was a disaster. The toilet in our room was clogged when we arrived. The hide a bed, which I asked about when I checked in, did not work. I specifically booked this hotel because of the hide a bed. The staff told me there were no clean rooms to move to and no rollaways available. The staff closes the breakfast area 5 minutes before breakfast is supposed to end so the staff can eat and they make the paying guests feel unwelcome. The bathtub would not fill because it was stuck on shower and couldn't be changed. It took maintenance an hour to fix this at 9 at night. The hotel is tired and worn out. I do not recommend staying here.

Room not ready ( waited an hour after arrival for room), dirty room (stains on carpet, walls, ceiling and curtains) room in disrepair (door handles didn’t work/latch properly), had to ask for towels and toilet paper neither in room on arrival (2 calls an hour later and asking at desk finally toilet paper was given to us, unattended kids everywhere (pool, elevator, hallways) running around playing on the 1 elevator they had by pushing all the buttons every time we tried to take the elevator. No food at breakfast, didn’t replenish despite well within their breakfast hours.

The staff was pretty nice, the location was pretty good, and the size of the room was good.

With our first room the pull out bed was broken and it took over an hour to get a rolling bed (11:30 pm). The temperature in the rooms made it very uncomfortable. The other people in the hotel was dreadful parents allowing their children to swim unattended and cause havoc. It was hard to sleep with constant yelling and partying around the hotel cars driving around the hotel at 1 am with loud music made it very hard to sleep. Staff or security guards allowed all this which made the stay difficult.

Pulling up to check in and the police were there. For a room with 5 people we only had two towels. We called and requested more towels and another sheet for the pull out which they were never delivered and front desk didn’t always answer their phone. We tried to go to the pool but it was way over crowded, the pool was freezing and it was absolute chaos.

Our room had big stains on the carpet, food on the floor still from people that stayed before. The big issue or couch was broken so very uncomfortable! Also the TV worked on and off..

The staff were nice and accommodating. The breakfast was exceptional and we loved the omelet station. Also like the 2 free complimentary drinks per nights stay. Loved the openness of the hotel. Loved the bed and pillows, very comfortable.

There could have been working ice machines. There was only one ice machine that we could find in the entire hotel, which was on the first floor, and it wasn't working. We had to go to the gas station to buy bags of ice. There was only 1 elevator working and at times it would take up to 10 minutes if not more to access the elevator. The hot tub was down and not working. Our bathroom sink was clogged and would instantly back up and fill with water. The room's wallpaper, paint, furniture and carpet could be updated.

The staff were friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory. Check in/out process went smooth. Location is convienent.

We’ve stayed at this location a few times, but it seems to be getting progressively worse. At check in we had to sign a conduct contract that stated “no smoking” but it smelled like cannabis everywhere. There is only 1 elevator working(same as each stay)slow drain in bathroom, and tattered furniture. I have never seen an Embassy Suites in this condition before. We will not return this location.

Homemade omelets for breakfast, complementary drinks, room eas nice and clean. Very open for kids.

Only one working elevator, room service was very slow. It took aa hour for them to bring towels for our group while we were in The pool. Breakfast buffet was cold at 730am. Also pool room was not clean, and hot tub was out of order.

FIRST ARRIVING TO THE HOTEL WE CHECKED IN THEN GOES BACK OUT TO GET OUR BELONGINGS WE COME BACK IN WITH OUR THINGS AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY DIDN’T ALLOW YOU TO BRING YOUR BIRTHDAY CAKE INTO THE HOTEL… THE WAS SUPER DISAPPOINTING AND IT WASN’T EVEN THE LADY THAT CHECKED US IN THAT SAID SOMETHING SHE WAS JUST STANDING THERE WATCHING US ENTER INTO THE HOTEL WITH THE CAKE IT WAS ANOTHER EMPLOYEE THAT WAS STANDING THE THE OTHER CHECK-IN DESK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF HER!!!!! SHE SAW ME BEFORE HE DID AND HE SAID SOMETHING WHILE HE WAS CHECKING IN ANOTHER CUSTOMER!!!!! I’M LIKE LOOK AT SOMEONE TRYING TO GET EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!!!!! THEN WHEN WE GET TO OUR ROOM IT FELT DIRTY!!!!! SO IT WAS TIME FOR BED MY CHILDREN PULLS OUT THE LET BED IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA AND YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS UP!!!!!! IT WAS A HUGE PEE PEE STAIN IN THE BED AND DRIED UP BLOOD ON THE MATTRESS COVER!!!!!! AND A PIECE OF BREAD LIKE AS IF THE LAST PEOPLE THAT HAD THE ROOM WERE EATING PIZZA OR SOMETHING IT WAS JUST DISGUSTING!!!!!!!! I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE !!!!!!! AS MUCH AS MY FAMILY AND I TAKE TRIPS AND RENT HOTELS I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!!!! THEN THE NEXT DAY IT WAS BREAKFAST TIME THEY WERE PLAYING MUSIC LIKE I WAS CONFUSED I’M LIKE AM I IN A CLUB OR IS THE COOK ABOUT TO COME OUT AND START MALE DANCING I JUST DIDN’T UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!!!!! THE PLATES AND SILVER WARE WAS DIRTY!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOO DISGUSTING!!!!!!!! IF I WOULD Have DROVE ME AND MY CHILDREN WOULD HAVE BEEN IUT OF THAT PLACE IN A QUICK FAST AND IN A HURRY!!!!!!!! THE POOL WAS DIRTY AND PIECES OF THE POOL WAS BREAKING IN THE POOL MY DAUGHTER CUT HER FOOT WHILE SWIMMING SHE STOOD UP AND STEPPED ON SOMETHING IN THE POOL SHE PICKED IT UO AND IT WAS PIECES OF THE POOL!!!!! THE POOL AREA WAS DIRTY THEY NEVER HAD TOWELS IN THERE YOU HAD TO KEEP ASKING THE FRONT DESK FOR TOWELS FOR THE POOL AREA!!!!!! IT WAS JUST VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!
