Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived on bicycles and they cheerfully found secure placed to park them after checkout while we explored on foot.
Check in line was very long (20+ people) and slow

The location and the indoor pool.
I would have loved if the temp of the indoor pool is warmer.

Location is excellent. The hotel is walkable to various different stores such as: The Public Market, Train station (Westlake Center) that has an easy trip to the airport across the corner. One of the most popular tourist spots, The Space Needle, was few blocks away and can be seen in the horizon. Bottled water is free. Toiletries are customized to high end quality. Linens are fresh and changed everyday the same could be said to the beddings.
There was a lack of communication and information that led to confusion with the “Destination Fee”. We were not well-informed about it, and so it turned out to be a deficit to the hoteliers such as myself; on the bright side, the staff was considerate and apologetic enough about the miscommunication and offered a good deal.
Some toiletries and essential items; such as the tea kettle, are limited in the room, which will force you to ask constantly or reach out from the front desk.
You cannot touch the food or water available in the room because it has sensors and will unexpectedly charge you even if you did not consume it.

It’s time to do some renovations. The views are amazing, but property is very outdated

My brief two-night stay at The Westin Seattle presented a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is truly excellent; the surrounding area is vibrant, with city life in full swing, offering easy access to numerous cafes, restaurants, and the famous market. Our traditional room was comfortably spacious and provided a good view, and the mattress was exceptionally soft, guaranteeing a great night's sleep.
However, I must note a significant shortfall in amenities: for a hotel of this supposed caliber and price point, the absence of an in-room coffee machine or kettle is simply unacceptable and detracts severely from the expected standard. Considering the non-budget pricing, I found the overall price-to-quality ratio to be disappointing.

location and staff were great!
I stayed two nights and the only complaint I had I reported to the front dest. The complaint was that the bathroom drains were clogged and barely drained. Taking a shower was not enjoyable because the water would take an hour to go down the drain and the sink did the same. Not likely to recommend this location.

The Hotel was perfect! My room was so pretty and the view I got at the North tower was beautiful!
The hotel is good! The issue is that if you wanna walk to the Market you have to go up hill walking! Have that in mind if you are not used to walk :)

Nice front desk staff. Beautiful room. Comfortable beds. Much needed after we had to transfer from a horrible motel down the street.
Our only disappointment was at the bar. We came right at closing and the bartenders were rude. We had a long day and were looking forward to a cocktail. But we did say we understood and asked if a canned beverage would work and they reluctantly gave us one but then charged an astronomical amount. Wasn't expecting to get treated that way. Thank you.

Housekeeping was just ok. Used facewashers were removed and not replaced. Teeny weeny towels ......

Excellent location! Lots of restaurants, movie theater, music venues, convention center, Pike Place market, all within easy walking distance. Never needed to use transit or UBER.
(1) never gave me a “sharps” container. Staff didn’t even know what one was. Only hotel that didin’t give me one right away.
(2) Have stayed here several times, and the overall quality of the hotel seems to be dropping with every stay! Breakfast prices are ridiculous and you can’t get a plain plate of pancakes without fruit and other stuff I can’t eat, room was in need of renovation, housekeeping didn’t clean until after 4pm, etc. Marriott is doing a terrible job of managing Westin hotels in general.

Water pressure and heat were abysmal for a $500/night 4 star hotel

Having stayed in the Westin with my late husband before Covid we a lovely experience. Now travelling solo, I was happy tp use this hotel as it is central to the city, and I frequently stay at any of the Marriott group
Seatac airport was chaotic when I arrived late on 28/08/25 from Anchorage and flight 143 never posted which carousel, luggage could be claimed. We landed at 10.30 and our flight travellers finally found our luggage at almost midnight. I lost my original cab as he couldn’t wait so by time i arrived at the Westin it was it was past midnight. My room was on level 33. Number 3350. Despite the time, I noticed a number of things a) out dated decor, b)stained brown carpet, c)another door leading to the outside with strict instructions for the locks to be permanently in place. To a single female traveller this is not appropriate. I looked inside the fridge and quickly realised that whatever I moved, i would be immediately be charged for. Coffee machine available but paper cups???! No spoon but bits of wood to stir that are far Too short to do the job. Very obvious that one can use 2 cups in a day but if you request more then they are chargeable. I made do with water and fell into bed at 1 am. The bed was lovely and best thing about room. As i was so tired i put do not disturb sign on door as maids often arrive early in morning. However, I removed notice at 10 am as i had been unable to make the room safe work. The technician, a very competent man, mended it and all fine. I left hotel, returning at 12.30 pm. Room not cleaned or made up, phoned reception and was told “if theres a notice on door, that means room will not be made up that day! I asked for fresh towels and some coffee which arrived , man delivering this was not very pleasant, but obviously wanted a tip which he did not get. I then purchased from Walgreens my own water as that hadnt renewed either. Please note this happened again on Saturday and I was told by phone operator that there was a Do not Disturb notice in place, which clearly there was not. This service is NOT acceptable. Operator said she would speak to housekeeping but i had to phone again in an hour as no one had .appeared.

Bed was comfortable. Good bathtub.
Water was barely warm. Couldn't take a hot bath. Wayer was still not hot in the morning. Ice machines didn't have ice, had to keep calling front desk to send ice. Information on tv for hotel, most buttons didn't work. Had to keep calling front desk.

The greeting staff was very professional and gracious. The bar and the staff there were superb!
The room did not seem sufficiently prepared for our arrival. Towels weren't neatly folded and a couple (towels) were missing altogether. By the time we noticed, housekeeping wasn't available we were told. Amenities were also lackluster compared to my other Westin stays domestically and internationally. No robes. Room service for breakfast was served in a thermal bag! I was expecting a table service presentation as I've always had at Westins. No room service of any kind available after 11:00 p.m. We had to use Uber eats and go down to the lobby to get it!
Very disappointed overall.

The room was large with views. The location was close to the train station and monorail, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
There are far too few elevators—3 for a 40+ floor hotel? You will wait for an hour when check-out time comes. So, make time for that.
The wait staff in the restaurant set down the food and didn’t return to see if everything was ok, if we needed anything else, or even to bring us our checks. Had they checked, I would’ve returned my food. It was impossible to eat with any neatness at all. Who makes avocado toast using a plate-sized 2-inch slice of tough toast. It was served with a steak knife for a reason and I still couldn’t cut it. It was hard as a rock!

Great location. Within walking distance to many popular attractions and the train and monorail. 5 blocks from Pike Place. 3/4 mile from Seattle Center and the space needle.
Very comfortable beds and the free in-room coffee maker was decent. A good darker roast.
Nice dispensers in the shower with White Tea products.
The elevators are not adequate for the number of floors and rooms. Allow extra time during peak departure and arrival times .

The location of the hotel was good. Bed was fairly comfortable but very small.
Rooms are old and in need of renovation, dirty, we found luggage tags stuck on the furniture from Dec 31st ! Been there 8 months. The mini bar dry items hidden behind TV and covered in dust. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. View was just the offices opposite. Towels were very hard, no body wash in shower just hair shampoo x 2 and a conditioner, shower water leaked from the shower head and sprayed everywhere. The floor and walls in the bathroom were very dirty, black ingrained dirt. Staff were inoffensive but not helpful.

The room was comfortable
We were unable to use the elevators. We waited 45 min for an elevator before we started to walk down from the 30th floor. I am disabled and had a very difficult time navigating the stairs. I could only make it down 10 floors before I just couldn’t do it anymore. An employee offered to take us down a service elevator. We were sardined in with several other guests. As a former hotelier I understand these types of things were not the fault of the hotel, however I did reach out to the hotel directly avoiding giving a negative review. However that was met with indifference to my plight. So I went through Booking.com customer service. Again the hotel failed to compensate us. We spent very $600 for one nights lodging and valet parking. Some type of compensation would have been acceptable. Even returning the destination fee or the valet parking fee as a token of good will. But nothing. Just indifference.

The room was comfortable orginally.
Unfortunately our room had a leak in the middle of the night and we had to switch rooms. We were switched to the same type of room, but it certainly disrupted our sleep and interfered with our site seeing plans for the day. It was an inconvenience to my family to have to pack up in the middle of the night and get resettled and try and get to sleep once again. Staff could have been more pleasant about the experience and more understanding to the disruption. Overall, staff was somewhat slow and understaffed for check in/check out and overall inquiries.

Very clean, stunning.
The man who handled our luggage was quite rude.

The location and hotel.
They had only one working elevator and my room was on the 20th floor. On Sunday the day of checkout I had to carry all my luggage/bags down 20 flights of stairs. When I paid $1200 for 2 nights and $165 to valet my car. The staff did not care about the disabled people who could not take the stairs. Honestly, will not stay again.

We chose this hotel for the location and it met the needs of our trip. The view from our room was fantastic and we spent a lot of time by the window.
Rooms really need updating and some attention to detail. There were dust bunnies on the ceiling of our room where the vents were, the carpet was stained and there were broken and missing plates around the electrical sockets. They still charge for Wi-Fi and local calls after the rates they charge. We were in the older south tower and you can still tell people used to smoke in the corridors.

The amount of pillows. The quick service to provide water. The rush to get us to spend more money than our original price of the room. Oh ya that’s a negative.
I had to pay extra for parking at your establishment and I parked at a garage claiming that they were not affiliated with you “Westin bldg garage #3” so they charged me 30 dollars a day.
