Avoid at all costs

Reception staff wasn't there to check me in though it was well within check in hours. They were reached through a super 8 motel across the street and they said they would come to open the office to check me in. But they never did. So disappointed as I had to figure out overnight accommodation so late at night.

It was passable but...

The location is great. It is very close to Clifton Hill and the Falls, which is a big plus. If you’re mainly looking for a place to sleep at night and spend most of your time outside, this place can work just fine. if you’re on a tight budget and only need a place to sleep, it’s passable.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, our expectations were already quite low. We just hoped for a decent spot to leave our bags and rest at night. When we arrived, the place seemed passable at first, but once we entered our room, we were greeted by several flies. We managed to get rid of most of them ourselves. We didn’t bother reporting it to the front desk, as we weren’t planning to stay in the room much anyway. We were also a bit anxious about the security of our belongings, but thankfully everything was still there after our full-day tour.

Decent Room for the price, Simple issue can be fixed with some effort.

However, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The room was fine for the price range, minus the issues.

However, we had a TV with no matching remote, so it was stuck on 1 channel. The A/C unit was very loud. There was a couch in the room, which was clearly too big for the space it was in. It blocked access to the closet space.

It has a fairly decent price as compare to others and they accommodated our request which was good.It was clean and hygienic with some issues.

Can do some better efforts on customer service and hospitality. Additionally can fix their bedbacks and ventilation. We found it little suffocating.

Looking for a place under 150??

Our stay was only for one night for a show at the fallsview casino. Being that it was in the summer every hotel was over priced as usual. The falls family lodge was reasonably priced at 137 total for a Saturday night. The place is old but very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and mattress was clean. However, the area is over run with undesirables. We witnessed several people getting high, and also a couple just passed out in the street. Definitely not an area you want to be walking about late at night. Parking was 20 dollars across the street with "in and out" privileges. You get what you pay for. If you need a place to just sleep and /or get ready for a show then I would stay here. If you need more than a night Definitely not. I wouldn't bring my kids here either. I would spend more money if I was bringing my family and get a nicer place.

No ice machine. The hotel left ice in a cooler outside for guests. No iron or iron board in the room. Had to call the front desk for an iron, and iron my clothes on the bed. TV had about 3 working channels

Staff were rude. Changed room type from 3 beds (already booked) to pull out couch. No bedding for pull out, were given two blankets. Room was poorly maintained. Sockets without covers, curtains that would not close.

Never to stay back

What we like most is that water have a high pressure, lots of water supply, aircondition was freezing which is good.

We didn’t like when we first came in there is some flies flying around the room, bed was soft but when we lay-down its started to get itchy, lota of dust in the side table and lampshades, dirt around microwave oven toaster and lastly when we tried to use microwave the power supply got shut down.

Close by the falls, the owner made us a parking spot when we got back

No parking but the paid (depends on time of day for 10 to 30 a parking) parking, the yelling in the hallway, the leaning wall making us feel like it might clapse as we laid there

overcharged, they took $100 deposit and never put it back on credit card afterwards 😒, no plug for tub, could hear people in halls, and door seems like was busted in a few times,
