Quiet location close to everything via car. Beautiful building and grounds.
I asked if flowers could be placed in the room to help celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. I was assured that they would provide them prior to our arrival. The gentleman at the reception was very apologetic and assured me that they would have some the next day. Sadly, we never received any.

Beautiful and well kept manor and grounds. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh food with great flavors. The chef always made eggs, then served hot veggies (different each day), cold salad, fresh fruit and baked goods. They accommodated my dairy allergy each day and even made some dairy free muffins one day so I could enjoy those too. The staff was friendly and the chef/manager went beyond answering our many history questions and sharing stories of the manor. Very clean! The housekeeping staff did a great job in our room and the shared space was also very clean. .
Zero complaints about our stay. I would only suggest a name change. It is NOT a castle.
