This bed and breakfast is conveniently located along a few bus routes from downtown Victoria; very convenient. Also walkable since it is mostly downhill or level ground along Fort Street. Returning to the Inn would necessitate some uphill climb, but doable if one is fairly mobile, and not raining cats and dogs :) The breakfast provided was exceptional. It used to have two options to choose from, but this time, there was only one, still very good. Definitely amongst the best we’ve had in a lot of B&Bs. Staff was very warm and welcoming as well.

Everything was easy. Great location. Big parking lot. Quick check in. Comfortable bed. Spotless bathroom. Delicious breakfast with allergies and preferences accommodated. Beautiful house and dining room and living room are inviting with games and lots of history to enjoy. Walking distance to Government house and couple great restaurants across the street !

Location is great. The interior and exterior are unique. Breakfast is amazing.
Very dirty. I don’t know if we were “lucky” to get an exceptionally dirty room or if the rooms are simply not cleaned properly. There were someone else’s socks near the bed and an old paper cup with a used tea bag. If you look under the bed, you’ll be shocked - clearly no one has cleaned there in a long time. It seems they only make the bed and change the towels, but there were leaves all over the carpet and even in the bathroom.
