Loved the clean, spacious rooms. Very convenient to walk to local restaurants and attractions. The coffee/wine shop in the lobby was great. If staying in hot temperatures the lack of A/C may be an issue. It worked out fine for us on 20 degree days in late May. Will definitely consider staying again in the future!

The washer/dryer in the room is not good…the settings are difficult to figure out and it doesn’t work well. Clothes didn’t get clean and the dry cycle doesn’t vent. My clothes shrunk…and are ruined.

I booked this without fully reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this stay was! The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was much closer to everything than expected, and the amenities were over the top! From Koi fish feeding in the lobby, to bicycle rentals (free), the amazing pool, the theatre, the rooftop s’mores party and more! It was clean, the room was HUGE with a large covered patio. I’m impressed! Last time we stayed at the Empress and we will be staying here next time. I was a bit worried that it didn’t have a/c which is typically a dealbreaker, but we had two Dyson fans provided and an incredible breeze. Loved every minute of this vacation!
