Very Solid and Inexpensive Place to Stay

Was excellent value for the price. Had everything we needed for a solid stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was excellent.

The tile floor was a bit slippery in winter boots, maybe would have liked a floor mat in the front hall. A bit of noise from other guests at night but it wasn’t a big deal.

Very clean room, comfortable warm clean bed that does not itch or smell 👍. Toilet is clean and no moldy smell . Love the tiles and bed, staff very friendly and pleasant . Location was great and price reasonable ! Thank you will come back again .

Perfect location and great value

Great location to all of the amenties and walking distance to everything, good value I will definately stay there again. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

I thought this was an exact match between the price and the product! Which rarely happens in any touristy area. The rooms and hotel are very clean!! I love that there are not rugged floors but are ceramic. This means they actually get washed. The front desk staff were all very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again.

Nothing. I was genuinely happy with everything. We have stayed a ton of places in Niagara and Niagara on the Lake. We visit this area at least three times a year. Sometimes we stay in fancy overlooking the falls places and I’m annoyed about the price. Or we stay at cheaper places on Clifton hills and I’m annoyed about the price and the noise or cleanliness. This place is great because the value you are getting is exactly what the price being charged is. Yeah, there’s no pool or breakfast or fancy lobby. But it’s a great price!! So if you want fancy don’t stay here. Go pay over twice to three times as much somewhere else.

Smelly Rooms and Corridors - Motel not a Hotel

The only positive this hotel has is the location. It is in fact not a hotel, it is a cheap motel

We booked a non smoking room; however, both the corridors and the room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke and tobacco. We had to check out within 30 minutes of checking in and move to a different, proper hotel. The corridor was not clean, and the staff was not courteous. Overall, the experience was typical of a low cost motel.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again the next time we’re in Niagara Falls.

We chose the Inn due to the proximity to the Fallsview Casino, where we attended a concert. The free parking and EV charging stations were great features as well. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The walls seemed to be pretty thin, as we could hear sounds from other rooms, but those subsided during the night, so it wasn’t an issue.

Excellent location for all tourist sites to visit, close to Victoria Park, close to Clifton Hill, Skylon Tower, Museum. The clean room had heating, a clean bathroom with hot and cold water, and a refrigerator. There was a microwave and a space to refill your cooler whenever you wanted. Free coffee was also available, which was great for winter.

There was nowhere to put our wet, snowy shoes when we came in. It would be great to have a tray or something to put them on.

It was excellent, quiet yet central.

It was extremely clean, fairly newly renovated and smelt clean when we walked into the hotel

The only thing was the floor was very slippery after we took our boots off because there was no mat or tray to put them on. We did bring this to their attention.

A budget friendly stay

Location, clean room, tv, free coffee

No tub, no microwave or kettle. No carpet. Room was renovated but the shower was still old with no tub. Front door was old (not renovated) and smelled musty. No proper hangers for clothing. The heating system didn't always work properly.

Our stay at the Diplomat Inn was quite enjoyable. We would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great. Very close to restaurants and various attractions. Coffee was provided for breakfast. We found the room very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite.

It would be nice if fruit and muffins were available for a quick breakfast, though picking up these items at a nearby grocery store was not a problem.

A real gem

Friendly, helpful cheerful staff, both day and evening. Very clean linen in big comfy beds housed in a spacious room with ample storage and good facilities, a fridge and hairdryer. A kettle was provided on request. Free coffee available downstairs and a also vending machine. Close to the wego stop and a10 minute easy walk to centre.

A place just for sleep.

It was a place to stay for a night with free parking. Basic amenities included.

The rooms smelled a little, like most hotels fresh air will do them good. There wasn’t an elevator. There wasn’t a freezer in the fridge ( but the staff were nice and let us use theirs).

Budget Hotel for short stay

This is a 2 star hotel which met our needs for one night. The place is renovated and clean. Staff was professional. If you want a good night sleep, it is not soundproof and you will hear everything above you. If you are on a budget, it can be the place.

We could hear the neighbors on both sides, running back-and-forth with their kids, screaming. The toilet bowl was oval shaped with a round toilet seat on top. It didn’t fit. I did not like their pillows. For a king size bed you were given 3 bulky pillows. It was very plain room. Very clean room. No elevator that I saw.

Perfect for a night in Niagara

The hotel is just right for the price. The room was very spacious for 4 people. It's close enough to walk to the Falls and the city center.

The interactive mirrors/lighting/thermometer have a very bright display that we had to block with a shoe :-)

We be happy to stay again

For the price you pay, you really can’t complain. The Diplomat is a fabulous option in its range/category in the heart of Niagara. The rooms have been updated so everything is neat and tidy and does what you need. An easy location for walking to the centre shops, restaurants etc.

The shower curtain seemed to let a bit of water spray out and onto the floor right near the door hinge, so with the entire room being tiled it could get a little slippery around the bathroom entrance after two people had showered

Price New toilet and shower stall, and bed

AC right next to head of the bed. It was loud, so it was hard to sleep. Bathroom very small so washing the kids made it very difficult and messy Though there was 4 of us, they only gave us 3 towels. had to ask repeatedly for more. They got it right on the last day though. Saw a giant earwig crawling on the floor on our last day. Room was renovated, but it seems the bare minimum was done.

A great budget hotel located near centre of Niagara Falls.

Very clean hotel with safe parking near my room. Linens, room and bathroom all extremely clean. Handy fridge in the room.
