I have stayed at many hotels, this was the worst.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Please don’t book this hotel unless you want the worst experience of your life.

Elevators, parking, ceiling lights. Bathroom was split into two (wash basin on end, foyer in the middle and shower+toilet on the other end). Absolutely disgusting. I payed extra for a better room with a balcony but it turns out there is no difference. Heads up: refrigerator doesn’t work at all.

Great suite with a kitchen area. The room was very big and very clean. The kitchenette was well stocked with equipment. Staff very friendly and the locations was great.

Ok for a quick stay, dodgy location

The rooms themselves were really modern and clean and great value for the money.

The location of the property is really tricky as there were a great deal of dodgy looking people walking around especially where we were waking up early and looking for a coffee shop we were approached by a number of people that were very high and aggressive. The room our daughters had a sofa bed and the mattress was paperthin and therefore very uncomfortable (3 sharing a room so no choice) plus the only Aircon unit in the room was positioned next to bed blasting on her which wasn’t ideal. My final complaint is the initial check-in staff person was very rude. Keep in mind we had travelled a long way from the U.K. and were very tired. He wasn’t the friendliest. When we asked about trying to find a mattress topper for our daughter‘s bed, they did provide one however it was still very uncomfortable. I would say room for improvement on the pull-out safe for bed considering they are charging that as another sleeping arrangement. Also prior to travelling we had asked to be placed on the same floor but they didn’t accommodate this.

A well appointed hotel but loud room A/C and and impoverished location makes it a place I wouldn’t stay again.

A/C was very loud making it difficult to sleep. Also a Bar/Restaurant next door was loud until midnight. Location was near a neighborhood impacted by poverty and substance use.

A convenient place to stay for a walkable vacation!

Location was perfect for transport to the Cruise ferry. Room was good, but the bed were not very comfortable - not easy to find a plug to charge devices after a long flight. Breakfast was good, but was not given the voucher on check in, so had to ask at the reception desk for it in the morning.

Downtown location, walking distance to restaurants are stores. Rooms were clean. Pool is a good size though probably better suited for older children (8+).

Great location though be aware there was construction on Granville & Hemlecken, which made it difficult to turn into hotel. Would have been great for hotel to let you know prior to arrival. The parking is $40 a night which was NOT properly described in the booking website. Upon inquiring about this charge (which was unplanned for us), staff said that I couldve have booked the stay with parking included, but this is not the case after checking on the app. I also contacted Booking.com about this issue, I was told they would speak to the hotel and get back to us. They never did and the charges were made. The staff could have been nicer about it, and Booking needs to make this clear on their app, otherwise I would have stayed in another hotel since the additional 120 dollars did matter for our budget.

Great location in Downtown Vancouver.

The service was great. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping, to folks in the bar/restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming and wonderful. The location is excellent. Close to everything we like to do. Parking was easy as well, with unlimited in/out privileges. The price is expensive for other cities, but on par with what you would pay in Vancouver for a place like this. The Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown will definitely be on our list for best places to stay.

Close To Cruise Terminal! If you just need a room, and nothing more, this hotel will work.

I like that the hotel was very close to the Cruise Terminal. I scheduled a ride with Uber, and was at the Cruise Terminal in 10 minutes. Room was clean, and comfortable.

It was a very costly stay for what was provided. Construction workers were playing around on the 3rd floor starting at 5 a.m. Loud talking, laughing, slamming things. Food and Drink was also very expensive. $15 for 2 Small Water Bottles. Would choose another hotel next stay.

Excellent location. Would recommend.

Breakfast was excellent. We were given a room as soon as we arrived, though we were several hours early. Very grateful as we were exhausted from our travel. All staff we had contact with were very courteous and helpful.

Could not get supper on day of arrival as, at 4, the restaurant became a bar and served drinks only. Tried to order food just after 3 and was told it was too late. The decor was slightly worn, however they were in the process of redecorating.

Very comfortable place with friendly helpful staff

Upon arrival we were really tired. I was not happy to find we were on the 2nd floor, our friends on the 3rd floor and the others on the 6th floor. However we accepted it, but then we went to leave the lift and found about ten stairs we had to get down with our heavy luggage. Good news is after contacting the front desk they were able to transfer us to another room with no stairs and on the 4th floor and the staff member who came to give us our new access card helped us with the luggage. The bed was large and very comfortable with us falling asleep quickly each night.

The stairs obviously (not a problem if you light luggage or are young and fit. No sign in the lift to tell you what was on what floor. Although there were about four lamps in the room I found the lightning wasn't great for me at my age.

Our coffee maker in our room was broken. It was my birthday and didn't want to have to track down a coffee pot. I went down and asked they said they will bring one in about 15 minutes. That never happened for the rest of stay unfortunately. However the staff were very accommodating and friendly
