Paddy Field Escape - Habarana,Srilanka

Secluded, comfortable, very clean, beautiful views. Suitable for 3 people or 2 couples, or family. Air con was great. The view across the paddy fields is beautiful and you can see elephants occasionally, we saw peacocks and white throated kingfishers. The host was just amazing, could not have been more helpful and the food was fabulous. All home cooked Sri Lankan food for breakfast but will accommodate any food tastes. Scrambled egg is a must on request! 😉 They will take you into town for food in the evening even though town is only a short walk it can be dangerous at night due to the elephants roaming free.

There is nothing bad to say about this place. We have suggested a fly swatter as they can be annoying but you are in the country.

Everything was exceptional! From the moment my girlfriend and I arrived, the staff welcomed us with cold face towels and a delicious welcome drink. The team was extremely friendly, attentive, and maintained high standards of hygiene. The cabana was super clean, comfortable, and located in a peaceful, beautiful setting with a nice play area. The breakfast was superb, fresh, and generous. They also helped us arrange a wonderful safari tour. Truly a 10/10 stay for couples!

Paddy Field Escape Habarana exceeded all our expectations! The location surrounded by lush paddy fields is stunning and tranquil. We loved the warm welcome with drinks and cold face towels. The cabana facilities are excellent, complete with free Wi-Fi and a mini-bar. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff's kindness and hospitality were outstanding. They even organized a wonderful Minneriya national park safari for us! Truly amazing value for money and pure comfort. 10/10 recommendation! We will be back again!
