MR Suites - Riva Downtown

This property felt like being welcomed into someone’s beautiful home and into the real life of Riva del Garda. The house is spacious, beautifully equipped and exceptionally comfortable, in a lovely local neighbourhood just a short walk from the centre. We never used our car, we simply left it and walked everywhere. And then there is the host. Without a doubt, by far the best host we have ever experienced. His recommendations were never a standard tourist checklist. He took the time to understand what we wanted from our stay and tailored his suggestions accordingly. He was always available and made us feel as welcome as we would have felt by an old friend. It was the little details that made the difference: a wine cooler in the master bedroom with an unforgettable bottle of wine waiting for us, thoughtful surprises, separate beach bags with towels for men and women, together with a food container so we could take wine, fruit or anything else we wanted to enjoy on the beautiful shores of Lake Garda. The optional private, secure covered parking was excellent touch, protected from both unwanted access and the sun, unlike the town’s parking lots which are further away and completely exposed. What we appreciated most was the feeling of authentic Italian hospitality, which was warm, personal and generous. We couldn’t recommend this place more. We genuinely hope to come back. Riva is beautiful, but this host made our experience of it something truly special.
