Struggled to get in

Great communication from Angela, we had an easy check in and she also very kindly allowed us a slightly later checkout time the following day (thank you!). The house was clean and well-maintained with loads of room. We only used the downstairs rooms, as didn’t need the upstairs space, with just 2 of us and a dog. The courtyard garden was a nice addition, but we needed to block up the bottom of the gate, as the dog could get out underneath, where the wood is broken. The location was brilliant - near a park and a supermarket, plus free parking on the street. Only a 20 minute drive from Seaham, which is where we spent the majority of our time. Thank you for having us.

Unfortunately the strong air fresheners (plug-ins and diffusers) caused us to have headaches and nausea within a few hours of being there. Once we realised, we moved them all upstairs and got some air into the downstairs living space, it felt much better.

We honestly had the most wonderful stay and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. ❤️ The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. It was such a peaceful and pleasant place for our family, and we made some really special memories together. 🥹❤️ The host was truly amazing — so kind, caring, welcoming and thoughtful. Their kindness meant so much to us and made our stay even more special. We were genuinely sad to leave. It felt like a real home away from home, and we are so grateful for the lovely memories we made here. 🏡❤️ Thank you so much for everything. We would absolutely love to come back again! 🌷
