Good Base House
House was Great for what we wanted which primarily was a trip to Beamish Museum only a short drive away house was clean and comfortable and area very quiet. The rain was non stop on Friday and Saturday but didn`t dampen our Spirits and Beamish was Wonderful. Not the owners fault but we did have a leak from the ceiling on to one of the Beds meaning one of our party had to sleep on the sofa on our second night which wasn`t great 😒 but overall a good weekend and a good Base for seeing sights.

Homely, spacious & clean
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Donvale Road, it is conveniently located near to South Shields & Beamish Museum (we visited both of these places during our 1 night stay which are fantastic for families). It felt homely & it was very clean, towels and flannels provided which was a nice bonus 😀 we had a 5 minute walk to the nearby Blue Bell pub for an evening drink before returning and ordering a takeaway :) I would highly recommend this property and if we come up to the north east in the future we would definitely stay here again 😀
We were happy with everything!
