nice property but really could do with working on many things.

style of the rooms was nice.

the main thing that dissapointed us was that when we arrived we had to ring the number provided on the email 15 times to get the lock box code, when he finally answered the phone he was very abrupt and didn’t say much, when i asked for the lock box code to get into the house he replied “have you paid the deposit” which i don’t really think has anything to do with getting the code. the beds were not presentable at all, with only 2 pillows on the double beds, the sheets and pillow cases were messy, wrinkled and stained. the bathroom sink taps were both unclean and stained with toothpaste and water marks, the shower screens also hadn’t been cleaned and were stained. the kitchen was unclean the oven door was stained and had something dripped down it that had been left, the kitchen sink was very dirty and they hadn’t provided a clean sponge it looked months old, the fridge was not clean. there was multiple things that were damaged and broken, for example almost all the lamps in the bedrooms were ripped and had holes in, the wallpaper was ripped in multiple rooms, there was 2 glasses that were smashed and left in the cupboard in the kitchen, we were dissapointed to see damaged things as we paid a £250 deposit and were told we wouldn’t get this back if anything was damaged.

A brilliant stay in a spacious, well-located property. Perfect for our stag weekend.

The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped – ideal for a group getaway. All of the rooms were a decent size, so no one got stuck with a box room or felt cramped, which was a big plus. The communal areas were great for socialising, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal being close to the town centre and local amenities, but still in a quiet enough area that we didn’t have to worry about noise or disturbing anyone. The host was easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. No issues at all with the deposit. It was refunded more or less straight away after our stay, which was appreciated. All in all, a solid choice for a stag do or any group trip. Would definitely recommend.

The Wi-Fi didn’t really reach the rooms upstairs with the property being over three floors. It would probably benefit from a booster. That said, it wasn’t a big issue for us as we just used our own data.

Requested £250 deposit and held it for nearly 3 weeks after check out

Good location and price

They took £250 for a deposit into some random Monzo account, we checked out on the 1st January and was told 3-5 days, which is excessive anyway. After countless messages and contacting customer services I have finally got my deposit back 18 days after checking out which is ridiculous and spoiled the whole experience.

Arriving at the apartment at the allotted time, I had to call the owner to gain access, also a bedsheet full of dirty laundry was left at the front door.

We had a fantastic stay - the location was a great base and just a short taxi ride into Newcastle

The location was excellent and very much enjoyed the fact that the park was so close so we could have a walk and explore the green space on our doorstep. It was also brilliant that the accommodation had large rooms with double beds and therefore could accommodate a large group.

Lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and lack of forks in the kitchen but other than that it was fab :)

good but dont trust the host

the host misled us in thinking we would get our full £250 deposit back but he kept part of it back claiming an early check in fee occurred when we checked in 30mins prior and no one was staying in the property the night before. to be then messaged advising if we write a review he would be writing back with terms and conditions when we werent aware. good place to but we paid £700 and then an additional £50 which seems we wont get back

Communication from the owner, some things in the house were broken (lounge table) and lounge smelt of smoke. Most annoying part was trying to get the security deposit back - took 10 days of constant chasing to get reimbursed!

perfect for a large group weekend away

the property is big and is really warm. only a 6 minute Uber to all the bars.

it needs a little tlc to bring it up to standard again but I found the place dead on. the property isn’t overly expensive to rent so you get what you pay for. Big bath room could do with a mirror and the living room table has seen better days. We are planning to book again for the summer so these small issues were not an issue for us!

We had a really nice stay in a lovely area of Newcastle. The house suited us most of the time but some improvements are

location was perfect and it is a very spacious house - ideal for a big family. the bathrooms are lovely- quite new and sparkly. lovely big fridge. nice carpet on the stairs. an excellent supply of glasses, mugs and plates. whole house was well heated and clean on arrival. Very calm and peaceful.

The kitchen isn’t well equipped if you want to cook - no frying pan and few utensils and very little cutlery. The oven didn’t function very well. My bed wasn’t comfortable and the quilts and pillows were poor quality. There was no plug in the bath and one bath mat between the two bathrooms.

Excellent location, ideal for family gathering but very disappointing overall.

The location was excellent and the size of property ideal for our party of 8 adults and1 child. The rooms were nicely decorated and very spacious.

The property owner did not respond to our messages. We had booked a cot but it was not provided and despite messaging the owners it never arrived. There are various items of maintenance required including wobbly toilet seats, loose toilet roll holders, bath over flow is not correctly fitted , the cooker hood light is permanently on, as is the emergency light at the top of the stairs. The table in the lounge is very wobbly. There are no baking tins in the kitchen and only a couple of usable saucepans. All the beds are uncomfortable and need replacing. The floors are filthy.

Excellent property tainted by security deposit issues

Really huge property, recently modernised and decorated to a high standard. Plenty of space for 11 of us, the double beds were all good sized and comfortable. The whole place was very clean. Short taxi ride from the city centre. Excellent stay for large groups/families.

It took 15 days and several chases for my security deposit to be returned - should have taken 3-5 working days. It was eventually refunded by bank transfer so in theory could have been done in seconds. I believe if I hadn't chased it so much and just waited it would probably never have been returned. If Christoph is able to sort this side of his business out then he has a really excellent property and we would stay here again

House was in excellent place for groceries, take outs, city & parking. Heaton Park close by.

Property needed a really good clean. Broken glasses in cupboard. Although house has 6 double bedrooms dining table only seats 4. One more door key (only one provided) would have been useful. It took some time & more than one request to get my security deposit refunded.

Just a couple minor things, both toilet seat were broken on 1 hinge. which meant they moved when sat on. The bedroom on the ground floor has a small damp issue which needs looking at.
