The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fantastic
Our room was directly above the bar, being a listed building there was no acoustic insulation or double glazing. We were told when we booked in that it was Karaoke night. Karaoke went on until midnight and then we were disturbed by people stood at the entrance to the hotel which was directly beneath our window. They were chatting while waiting for Taxis until 1am.

Marcus and the whole team were amazing. Couldn’t help enough. Location was brilliant, the whole atmosphere in the pub was amazing… very warm and friendly. We were there for 2 nights and made friends with a number of locals in that short period. Live music on the Saturday night for their formal reopening, fantastic evening. Dog friendly!
The only slight issue we had was with the twin room we were allocated . One of the mattresses would really benefit from being replaced and If I’m being really picky, the en suite facilities were compact; however, I’d rather that than not at all.

Very friendly and professional management. Early days for them. Good Turkish meals for breakfast and dinner. Central to village in lovely old building. Private parking out back - essential with very tight parking restrictions out front.
Too noisy at night - midnight bar on Thursday and 0100 on Friday night. Into Saturday morning as people congregated outside. Room was too hot - window hardly opens but at least there was a fan. Bed mattress needs replacing.
