Set in the Old School House at Killimster, this self-contained apartment occupies a restored Victorian schoolhouse on a large private plot just outside Wick. Light-filled rooms, a walled garden and generous parking make it an easy base on the North Coast 500 — close enough to Wick for supplies and a meal out, and well placed for John o'Groats, the Caithness headlands and the Orkney ferry. On clear winter nights, the northern lights are visible from the plot.
