Nice cosy house

This was a really cosy house that was comfy, clean and a great base for visiting the Far North and perfect for bunkering down from the January weather. We wish we could've stayed for longer.

Recommend as a family / couple stopover from the NC500

Much larger place than expected, lovely and warm, super clean. Lounge much better than it looks in the photos. Easy to park right outside. Helpful and responsive hosts.

Bed mattresses not comfortable and in need of replacing, especially the single beds.

Fairytale house

It's older house on 3 levels,as some reviews mentioned already, it's not suitable for people with walking disabilities or limitations because it has 2 set of staircase that's leading to bathroom and living room on first floor and on top level to bedrooms But the staircase wasn't any issue for us. Therefore,we loved it. It's charming, cozy, romantic,with sqeeky floors in some rooms. Spacious kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom owners equipped home with latest technology like digital touch device for central heating Check-in was very easy,instructions in the house clear and easy to understand, owners are very proactive and responsive immediately.....we feel sorry we can't stay longer Quiet neighborhood, free parking ,close to water,we had very comfortable stay Absolutely adorable place for those who are planning to stay in the are doing some daily trips to explore and return in the evening to same place for the night 100% sure we will stay here again if we ever come here in the future

The location of the property was good and in a nice quiet area of the town. Was easy to find and and no hassle from neighbours as you never seen them. The house itself was very clean and bright and very well looked after. Comfortable beds and very minimal to the rooms for space with buggage. Had access to use of cooker and white goods. Heating was easy to work also. The hosts had also left games also within the living room. Good use of information leaflets. Showering facilities was excellent and the host had left travel minis and plenty of towels available. Also they had supplied a hair dryer and use of kitchen ware.

Light, clean, well-furnished. Everything thought of except a hospitality/welcome tray.

Only slightly, the difficult lock on the front door. It had to be in a very precise perfect spot which was only learnt after several frustrating attempts in order to lock and unlock the main access to the property.

The property was ideally situated for all amenities

It was over three floors so there were a lot of stairs. The toilet was on the second floor with both bedrooms on the top floor which made it difficult for both my wife and myself during the night.

Excellent location for seeing north east Scotland

Easy to find, perfect location for seeing Wick and the surrounding area including Duncansby Head, John O'Groats and Dunnet Head. It was a very short walk to the centre of Wick and the interesting harbour was also nearby.

It was an amazing stay.

It was in a quiet location. Close to harbour and was good for an evening and morning walk. The property was very clean and well organised. Good kitchen, diner and good sized lounge. Bedrooms are very good. We had a very comfortable stay. Very good for the price. Highly recommended.

A little gem on the route of NC500

Location cannot be better! It is about two mins walk to the waterfront! There is on-street parking space outside the house. The space is ample across three floors and the house is equipped with all the facilities you would need. Very thoughtful and nicely decorated rooms throughout. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Comfortable beds, very soft thick large towels, lots of pillows, close to the harbor and downtown, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas.

The apartment was on three floors which we didn’t expect. There was one bathroom/toilet, next to the living room. From the bedrooms you have to go down a floor to get to the bathroom. The stairs are quite steep with small steps. I am 67 with bad knees so going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was quite a chore.
