Perfect for our requirements, we had to vacate mums house to have central heating replaced

Comfortable and warm. Great view of river, watching tide come in and out was fascinating. Spacious rooms.

Very minor points: A few different size glasses and a cloth for the sink and wiping surfaces would have been helpful. Also some coasters for the wooden table and table mats for the glass dining table I was concerned I would mark them.

Central location food and shops within 5 min walk. Close to train station also 5 mins walk

Not worth what we paid but could be with a bit of work

It was very central and a lovely space. It has potential Lovely view and we liked the breakfast bar/ living area

No banister up stairs and the motion light didn’t work until you went up the stairs in the dark. Shower holder was cracked Beds very uncomfy and squeaky. Bed frames aren’t even attached to bed so just rattle. The single bed was the comfiest. Only one sharp knife that was blunt Fairy gel bottle for washing machine was there but empty which doesn’t really make sense. There is a annoying tapping noise outside coming from the balcony area

Lovely location overlooking the river, hosts were very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

The only concern is that there is a staircase to get to the apartment with no hand rail. This was dangerous for my elderly Father so we had to be very careful walking him up and down. Otherwise is was great.

Awful customer service

Can't answer as my booking was cancelled after the check in time by the host due to previous guest "not checking out"

Customer service was shocking. I understand circumstances arise, however, the host was extremely rude, dismissive and argumentative. I explained this was booked for two colleagues who were already half way into their 6 hour drive to which his response was "well they cannot come here". I was told "this was not his fault" and he "didn't know what I expected him to do" in an extremely argumentative manner. I still have not received a refund for a booking the host cancelled and is now not responding to booking.com customer service. There is clearly a lack of organisation and communication as I was sent check-in details to then find out past the check in time my booking was now cancelled. Would avoid booking at all cost as I was left with no accommodation for two colleagues at 4pm on the day of arrival and am now struggling to receive a refund.

We were visiting family in the county so just needed a place to lay our heads so in that case this was great. Location was central but there’s nothing going on around it at all.

Erm… I had to chase the owners for the check in details. The apartment was ok but it was tired and dated. It has been well used and you can tell.

Exactly what you pay for

Ebb and flow views directly from the windows was absolutely enchanting. In general property have everything you need to have a base for far north investigations.

The key collect instruction we got just few hours before arrive. And that time we already were without internet. Would be better to get instructions one day in advance. Parking was fine but again would be better to have a bit more instructions in advance.

Overal our stay was pleasant, it was clean, warm and tidy

Central location

Just a few added extras, we had one towel between two of us, no spoons at all of any kind or bowls and maybe a toaster (we used the grill to make toast but a toaster would be easier)

Confusion over bkg - host not expecting us - initially sent us to a 1 b/room apt ( we'd bkd a 2 b/room) then said we'd been wrongly bkd Were almost ready to try another venue when he discovered we were bkd in after all & directed us to the 2 b/room apt we'd bkd!! Then all fine!

Disappointing. Would not stay again

Had to ask for key code on day of arrival as not been sent instructions. Flat disappointing. Wifi code sent did not work - reported this but no reply. No bowls supplied or spoons so could not eat cereal. Towels old with frayed edges. Bathroom light dim, shaver light not working. Old bottles of shampoo etc left in shower. Old sponge left to use for washing up was dirty. Coffee & tea available but no milk sachets or teaspoons. Very limited cutlery, no bottle opener.

Pleasant apartment which would be ideal in the summer.

Location was excellent for me. On a sunny day it would be a lovely apartment. I also got a two bedroom apartment although only needed one.

Shower had a mind of its own both in terms of power and direction. The TV in the bedroom is pointless as it seems to connect to nothing at all.

Nice apartments

I rang the number when i arrived in Wick and was quickly sent a text message how to access the apartments, where to park and the WiFi code. The room had a spacious well stocked kitchen, the views were overlooking the river. If you stay, please pay a visit to Old Pulteney Distillery, very close by. Very good tour and guides were knowledgeable and shared some great insights into the time and effort taken in the distillery process.

Not much going on in Wick, if you're thinking of staying as part of the NC500, carry on there are nicer places to stay than Wick.

Enjoyed it.

Nice outlook, easy parking, handy to nearly everywhere in town.

We booked at short notice and the hosts were not expecting us so some phone calls required. Got there in the end. Only stairs with our big bags.

Once I got there I noticed mess in the flat, wasn’t clean at all, in the entry on the table was opened can of Pepsi, crumbs in the oven, sticky worktop, doors from cabinets and microwave, dirty shower with hairs inside. Very disappointing.

The only minus was that for a 4 members family there isn't enough forks - not 1 for each of us and also chopping board will be good idea, if someone is cooking .. Couldn't find at all.

The apartment was very central, clean and had everything we needed. We booked this at very short notice because of a ferry cancellation and the host was very helpful in allowing us access really quickly., Thanks. I would definitely recommend. The balcony overlooking the river was great.

Annoyed mostly at owners attitude

location was fine.

The owner's attitude inclined to be pedantic and instead of answering simple questions it referred us to the original email he sent with instructions. We're travelling don't have time to read emails.

Great apartment just poor hygiene.

The apartment was great right on the river, nice balcony, two bedrooms with TV's, lovely kitchen area and sitting area.

The apartment pictures online are not the same now. The apartment could have done with a good clean, from cobwebs on the ceilings, shower dirty, a lot of dust on skirting boards, top of bed frame and balcony glass covered in dead flies in spider webs.

Lovely apartment in Wick

The apartment was in a central location and overlooked the river ( unfortunately more of a puddle than a river at low tide!). Lots of free parking 2 minutes walk away. Apartment airy and fresh. Washing machine useful ( we were half way through a fortnight's holiday). All necessary items provided. 2 bed apartment, just 2 of us - so the spare bedroom was a very useful dumping ground for luggage etc. Equally though ample room for 4. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a hiccough on arrival about the apartment not actually being ready for us upon arrival at 5.30pm but that was rectified in 45 minutes and didn't affect the rest of our holiday.

Central if you need to be in Wick. Modern fittings and fixtures.

lack of storage in kitchen. cookware too large for 2 people. Frying pan and grill pan had baked on grease. no view to either side of property and no outside space. Musty. No grab bar in shower.

nice. lovely view of river. very comfy beds

it a lovely property with all mod-cons. close to rail station. pleasant interior with a wonderfully added bonus of a balcony overlooking the river. beds comfortable and nice hot water.

the property was let down but the cleanliness. or lack of. having a balcony is a huge bonus, however it it in desperate need of a clean. indoors was not great for cleanliness either.
