Welcome to Barn End, a charming and comfortable Yorkshire cottage located in the village of Lepton, perfectly positioned between the bustling market town of Holmfirth and the vibrant town of Huddersfield.
Whether you're visiting for a relaxing countryside escape, a walking holiday, a family break or a business trip, Barn End provides a welcoming home-from-home and an excellent base for exploring some of Yorkshire's most beautiful scenery and attractions.
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests and has been thoughtfully furnished to provide everything needed for a relaxing stay. Upstairs, you'll find a comfortable king-size bedroom and a modern bathroom, while downstairs offers a cosy living area with a double sofa bed, Smart TV and complimentary WiFi. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything required to prepare meals during your stay, whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast before exploring or a quiet evening in after a day out.
Lepton is a friendly village with excellent local amenities nearby. Guests can enjoy dining at the highly regarded 315 Bar & Restaurant, enjoy a drink or meal at The Sun Inn, or venture a little further to discover local favourites including The Rose & Crown in Thurstonland, The Beaumont Arms in Kirkheaton and Da Sandro in Scissett.
The location is ideal for exploring the wider Yorkshire region. Holmfirth, famous as the filming location for Last of the Summer Wine, is just a short drive away and offers independent shops, cafés, pubs and picturesque riverside walks. Huddersfield town centre is also nearby, providing excellent shopping, restaurants, entertainment and transport links.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, the surrounding area offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities, with easy access to the Pennine countryside, Digley Reservoir, Ramsden Reservoir and the Peak District National Park. Popular nearby attractions include Castle Hill, Cannon Hall Farm, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Eureka! The National Children's Museum.

• Barn End sleeps up to four guests using one king-size bed and one double sofa bed.
• Due to the character of the property, there is a steep staircase leading to the bedroom and bathroom. As such, the property may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
• Barn End is located within a quiet residential area. We kindly ask guests to respect our neighbours and observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
• Strictly no pets are permitted.
• Strictly no smoking or vaping anywhere inside the property.
