Lovely stay all in all would definitely stay again but not in the same room

We stayed in lake side cottages just down a small lane they were lovely and woke up to bird song so very good We ate at the restaurant and the food was good quality and arrived quickly. Breakfast was exceptional the ingredients were delicious and was great value for money

Our room was the first at the top of the stairs with the outside door just below we were woken with the door banging every time people came in .

Lovely helpful polite staff. We were offered a free upgrade to our room as soon as we arrived, unsure why but it was great. Also offered breakfast at a fab price, don't know how they can provide such a delicious breakfast for the cost. We ate the restaurant in the evening, again really attentive staff and nice food. The room was huge, had a bath and separate shower, lovely and warm too.

There's nothing not to like, we booked on a deal price WOW.

Excellent location, for meeting up with friends. Good parking Limited options on the evening menu (Christmas menu only). However the food was delicious and well presented. We were able to eat, despite not having booked in advance.

Interesting old building, large warm comfortable room. Good food and lovely helpful staff. The location was ideal for our plans.

Everything. We just had a one night stop to attend a wedding in the locality, and chose Bagden Hall because it was the closest. We had no expectations and were delighted with our experience. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent, as was the room. I’m sure there must have been some sort of offer on - we only paid £80 for accommodation and breakfast for 2 in a good class hotel.

Not really a problem, but our room was in a separate block, up the hill a little from the main hotel. The block was clean and modern, but the short walk might put some people off, especially in bad weather.

Get Away To Badgen Hall Hotel

We liked the scramble eggs in particular, in fact the breakfast overall was lovely. Badgen Hall very tranquil and quiet if you want to get away from the hussle and busal.

Only that the rooms were separated from the main hotel and you had to walk to the main build for your breakfast.

THE place to meet up with old friends.

From our arrival at Reception through to breakfast next morning, the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble (name check for Jack in the restaurant). Exceptional value for money, so no points deducted and will have us return. Spacious suite, great outlook, huge bed, great bathroom. Perfect for a meet-up with old friends (must be great for a wedding or conference). Evening meal limited but sufficient and breakfast, hot and cold, really good.

An ashtray outside would help keep things tidy.

Perfect stay……. Couldn’t fault it

Fantastic location, very clean, staff really accommodating with early check in and changing rooms to be next door to friends. Outstanding service. We will be returning in a couple of months for a local firework display and can’t wait. Thank you for a great stay

A real jewel of a hotel.

All the staff were the best we have ever come across, helpful, friendly and professional, a total credit to the hotel, worthy of a hotel well beyond our price range.

Some decoration a little tired, but wouldn’t detract from a great stay.

A nice experience

All the staff we met were helpful, polite and patient when we were trying to work out our menu requests and the unconvential way we wanted to pay for our evening meal. Staff at breakfast were also helpful, noticing when we might need something As our stay was to attend a wedding it was a bonus which added to us enjoying the occasion. Thank you
