Lovely place to stay

The apartment was compact but had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was good and the kitchen was well equipped. There was eggs, cobs, butter, milk, wine and beer and orange juice left for us. A coffee machine with pods and also a milk frother. There was even a torch for night time. It wasn't far to the local pub and there is a designated parking space for the apartment. Not far to walk into town but very hilly. We would definitely go back.

Great spot, lovely host

Amazing place, great location and Sara was very helpful. The place was lovely and clean, comfy Sofa and bed with all the cooking facilities you need. Will definitely stay again, thanks Sara ;-)

Really loved this, so cosy and comfortable

I totally fell in love with this property. It was a lovely quiet break and spent time with the little furbabies exactly as in the images. I also saw the other two cottages and would highly recommend them. Winwood apartment and PellCroft Cottage are really lovely. The host was lovely leaving some essentials for us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful apartment, ideal for exploring Holmfirth and the surrounding area.

This is a beautiful apartment, well kept and in a lovely location. It is spotlessly clean and the host is on hand to help out. Nice touch to have a few provisions in the fridge, some eggs and milk, and a nice cold beer. Lovely after a long drive! There's a Co-Op a few metres away for your shopping needs, and a lovely pub a short distance away. The bed was super comfy. Communications were great with nice clear instructions and there's free parking right on site. This apartment comes highly recommended for anyone visiting Holmfirth.

Great accommodation in a beautiful location

The property was clean, private, & in easy travelling distance to lots of great places. The host very kindly left some provisions like bread, milk, condiments & eggs so we didn’t have to rush out to get supplies before we could unpack. There was a folder with clear instructions on the accommodation and surrounding areas as well as nearby interesting walks. Perfect place to stay!

Beautiful apartment with everything you need - really friendly hosts

Property is in a beautiful village on outskirts of Holmfirth. Very cosy apartment and it had absolutely everything we needed. Perfect large garden area to let the dogs off and big enough for them to run around a play. There were fresh breadcakes, eggs, milk and a couple of drinks left by the hosts which was a nice touch. Small table and chairs in enclosed front garden so sat there and played cards and the dogs just relaxed on the grass.

Had to be careful when using the steps down to the apartment as was quite slippy, but there is a banister to use.

Just a fact of being in the country but there were a loooot of spiders! The front door is full plane of glass, a curtain to pull over this for privacy and darkness would be lovely!

Amazing apartment and very well equipped in every way.

Well equipped and very nicely decorated. Sara and Graham also supplied a lot of very thoughtful and helpful groceries like milk, eggs, bread, butter, jam, 2 small chocolate bars, one serving of wire wine, a beer, tea, coffee and that’s what I can remember. They seemed to have thought of everything. There was good WiFi too.

The only small thing is there was a slight underlying smell of damp.

A fantastic well thought out accommodation, would defiantly stay again and recommend to anyone.

The location is quite and close to Holmfirth and major routes to surrounding areas. The owners have put a lot of thought into the apartment, this is not your basic accommodation. A very natural flow kitchen layout (with all the mod cons), a very comfortable lounge area which then leads onto the bedroom and that bed you just wont want to get out of. Plenty of thoughtful added little extras you wouldn't expect i.e. eggs, butter, milk, jams, bread cobs, small bottle of wine, bottle of beer, poop bags for the dog, ball catcher for the dog..... O` the list goes on, they haven't missed a trick here.........

Steps in and out of location are not suited for the elderly, especially when wet.

Beautiful apartment, there were some essentials in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. Toiletries were also provided, and the towels were bath sheets, so good size. Lovely location and scenery. The owner emailed us before the break to give directions and ask if we needed a bed for the dog, which was also a lovely touch. The garden was secure too

The stairs leading to the apartment were slippy when wet, but there was a hand rail.

Perfect property in a wonderful location.

The property was like home from home with lots of nice little extra touches to make our stay so perfect. The location is great with a 15-20 minute walk into the town centre and we got taxis back which were around £7 (dog friendly too!). Sara was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.

We had a super stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything anyone would need for a relaxing weekend. A great pub, The Wooldale Arms, only 200 m up the road, had super beer and very friendly locals. The only downside to the apartment is its distance from Holmfirth centre, it’s a good 20-25 min walk and all uphill on the way back

Really great stay with all home comforts

Very well set up, it is in a basement and clearly stared. We adore quirky properties and this was lovely. All home comforts provided included a coffee machine with enough of the relevance pods, milk steamer etc. all these little extras made it feel even more homely.

There is a small amount of damp in the air, nothing major but did notice this in our clothes most likely unavoidable because of it being a basement. There are fans for heat but I think a de-humidifier would be an advantage - especially in the bedroom / bathroom zone.

Beautiful accommodation with 1st class equipment and a comfy bed, great communication, ultra clean whilst being welcoming, excellent local guide

The only grumble was that the parking space was under a tree and the car was covered in sap. But this is really picky and just a part of life.
