What a beautiful and cozy home. It was central to everything and we really enjoyed having a wood burning stove!
Nice finished and decorated to a high standard, wonderful welcoming basket and treats.
Nothing really.

Magical
Quaint and elegant. Clean and well presented. Cathy left complimentary chocs & Prosecco for our New Year celebrations. Christmas decorations made it so cozy and welcoming. All linens smelt amazing and kitchen/bathroom were spotless.

Perfect!
This was the perfect place to spend some downtime. The cottage is gorgeous and had everything we needed. There were lots of lovely touches (like games and flowers and wine!) to show that the owners really cared about making the stay as lovely as possible. Having a fire to come back to after a day’s walking was really great.

Perfect, delightful, cosy.
Honestly, there is nothing to dislike! It’s so pretty, it’s immaculately kept, it’s really loved, it smells Devine as you walk in. The property is finished to a very high standard & this is the first cottage rental that I have been to (we book a lot of cottages) and this little gem has EVERYTHING there for you. A very thoughtful welcome pack awaits & that was also so appreciated. We meet the owner who came & introduced herself & she is so lovely & so very helpful.
Honestly nothing, it’s just beautiful and to such a top standard.

we were unaware of the shared access with neighbours until we arrived told first day by the neighbour that she was having delivery and a fence being put up second day whilst enjoying my breakfast in the lovely garden the workmen came through although polite we should of been pre warned on the actual site of this as we booked this for are anniversary and for a romantic break so couldn’t relax such a shame the as the garden was lovely but felt on show

A very nice break staying in a pretty and comfortable accommodation within an area of great interest to us.
This was a charming little cottage that was cosy and warm with everything you would need for a relaxing self catering holiday. exterior of the property was a traditional stone built end terrace cottage but with a modern tastefully decorated interior. With very comfortable beds, small but sufficient shower room, well equipped kitchen including large range cooker, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also an ironing board and iron as well as a hairdryer. It was just a short distance from Holmfirth which we did manage to walk to and back but it proved a little too long for a couple in their late 70’s but we found that it was easy to park in the car park at the large Coop in town which also serves as a public car park for a small charge which can be refunded if you purchase goods at the store. From Holmfirth bus station we caught the bus to Huddersfield then another bus from there on to Halifax to visit the Piece Hall. Of course there are all the Summer Wine Attractions in Holmfirth itself. This cottage and it’s pretty garden proved to be and ideal location for our visit to the area.
