Boshaw Cottage

Terraced cottage with lovely views, very peaceful and quiet which was just what we needed after a stay in Liverpool. It’s very tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and settees etc. and very well equipped. Jenny, the host, makes sure that all the little extras are there to make your stay easy and functional, from the milk and lovely biscuits on arrival, a spice rack if you’re cooking and basic needs like washing up liquid, sponge and cloths etc. I have stayed in other places where the first thing I’ve had to do is to shop for this type of thing. Only a very short drive to Holmfirth, so couldn’t have asked for more

Hosts were fantastic, the cottage was really clean and had everything we needed. The location was stunning over looking the reservoir.

Loved all the extra touches and the milk and biscuits ready for our arrival.

Was waiting for someone to send us the code to the lock box for keys but couldn't get in touch with anyone. Finally found the code in an envelope on the door but would have been less stressful to have known that's where it was.

Loved the scenery, waking up to a beautiful view was amazing. Especially the ledge near the tv where you could sit and enjoy the view. The cottage was cosy and felt homily. The fireplace was the right touch to make that feel happen. Beds were very comfortable, we slept like babies.

Mainly the WiFi.. I think because of the location, the WiFi kept acting funny which made it difficult to connect to YouTube and other apps. So we just watched normal TV. But there were also games available at the cottage, so we played a few of those as well.
