Good accommodation with everything you need with a great welcome pack. Bed extremely clean & comfy.
Fab location in a quiet area with fabulous views - a bit further from the town that envisaged but taxi/uber very cheap. Only a 20 minute walk downhill to the centre. Close to a shop and pub. Bed very comfy and clean - cannot fault the property for cleanliness. lovely touch in providing eggs, bread rolls, milk butter and drinks. Well equipped kitchen.
The apartment has everything you need. Disappointing visually inside. Quite dated brown decor which made the apartment feel quite dark/dull- neither modern or traditional, nothing seemed to match The sofas were quite uncomfortable. The apartment did not reflect the lovely building it was in. However, this would not put me off returning but a few tweaks to the decor and furnishing would make staying here a delight.

Lovely cosy cottage in a quiet area
The cosiness of the property and the attention to detail with nice complimentary toiletries and a good choice of cleaning products was great. The kitchen was well-equipped and the consumable welcome pack was thoughtful and appreciated. There were instructions for all the appliances and contact details for the housekeeper and owner if needed, all of which made me feel quite confident. The property is well located in a quiet residential area, with great views and just a short walk from the closest pub and shop. The centre of Holmfirth was walkable and had plenty of restaurants and pubs.
The only issue for us was that we were a bit ambitious in deciding to walk from the train station with suitcases. We gave in and booked a taxi for the return trip as I just couldn't face the hills again. So if you are arriving by train, book a taxi in advance.

A relaxing place to stay
Picturesque location and spacious car parking. The accommodation was comfortable and the facilities were good. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, a relaxing place to stay.
The floor rugs were showing signs of wear as was the cooking hob.

Lovely property, couldn’t have asked for more. Picturesque location with a pub and shop within 5 minutes walking distance. All the amenities you could possibly want, and a lovely welcome pack containing Beer, Wine, Eggs, Breadcakes, butter and milk, Tea and Coffee pods/Coffee, Chocolate biscuits. Very comfortable cosy bed with dressing gowns provided, nice easy to use shower in the bathroom. An information booklet detailing public transport, buses, taxi’s, local walking routes, WiFi info etc…. I contacted the host Sara on several occasions via email prior to the stay with questions, and the responses were prompt and very accurate. I would recommend this property 100% to anybody looking to visit this part of the English countryside, it’s a massive “thumbs up” from me. 👍👍👍✅✅✅✅

Great value for money apartment in lovely setting.
Great value for money, nice setting and location, very handy co-op & pub. Comfortable bed, spacious living room & well-equipped kitchen. The hosts left us a good range of complimentary food (for breakfast) & drinks, thank you very much.

Excellent homely , clean and well equipped apartment
Very clean, very well equipped and homely. Lovely toiletries and bed linen with extra touches like dressing gowns. Loved the welcome items eg eggs, bread rolls, wine/beer, butter pats & sauce sachets, individual cartons or orange juice and I’m sure there was more. Very thoughtful indeed.
Would have been good to have a bit more space to put suitcases but I it wouldn’t stop me booking again.
