The beds were extremely uncomfortable, springs poking out of the mattresses. Sofa needs a good clean.

Disappointing.

The size of the property was good.

Parking was not as expected and was very difficult. The garden was not family or pet friendly as it was overgrown and there was no outside furniture. Had it been a sunny day this would not have been a place to retire to. Inventory was lacking on the cutlery side, only 2 forks for four people.

Good value for money..

The accomodation was excellent. The house was clean and tidy, with all the complete amenities. The staff was easy to respond to questions, helpful and very accomodating.

The only drop off was the parking there was no onsite parking. As it was situated a long the busy street. There is parking though a long the next corner.

It felt Cosey and warm

Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work at all, which obviously means no tv at all so kind of sat all night with no tv, also the bed upstairs is about to break so we had sleep on the 2 single beds.

Disappointing

Location

The smell, the entire downstairs had a terrible sewage smell like blocked drains, especially in the kitchen. The house wasn’t very clean. Lots of cobwebs around the fireplaces, dirty skirting boards and mould in the bathroom. Grubby sofas that had no support and you literally sank down towards the floor when sitting on them. Not enough crockery or cutlery for a family, we only had 2 forks. Later found previously used crockery from another guest in the dishwasher and other guests half used out of date open food in the freezer, YUK! Very disappointing.

The House was very comfortable to stay in with all you need near by. its a great location for exploring the Peak District

The property is directly on a main road by a junction with traffic lights. it was a warm night and we couldn't open windows in the front bed rooms due to how noisy the road was

Great place to stay.

Lovely house. Clean and warm. Has everything you need. Great hosts. Good communication. Recommended.

Only issue is parking. I arrived around 8pm and found it difficult to find a parking space on the street. It’s also a busy junction so it took some time to find a space.

Would not recommend

We were given a code to collect the keys from the lockbox. However when we arrived the code did open the lockbox but there was no key. The contact number shared was also not reachable which created a panic among all including the kids as it was too late. After waiting outside for around 10 mins someone from inside the house opened the door and said the key was taken by the previous visitors and so he had to clean the house again. Everything felt not so expected and spooky. The door lock also was not smooth to open. The bedsheets where not changed as we could see hair strands. Toilet issues were finished. Me and my family did not felt safe during our stay and I dint had a good sleep either.
