Castle Acre Retreat - Dog Friendly Cottage

The bedrooms were nice and good size, beds comfortable. Everything was clean and looked newly decorated. Beautiful kitchen and handy with the downstairs toilet. TV room was comfortable with a great TV, nice place to relax in the evening. Dining room very nice for a meal and chat around the table. The garden was fantastic as we brought a little dog and she could be let out freely without fear that she would get out. Bathroom upstairs was very nice and handy to have an extra shower and sink in one of the bedrooms.

I can’t say we found anything about the property that we didn’t like. We had a really comfortable and cosy stay to the point where we didn’t want to go out in the evening as such a nice place to spend some time in.

Every thing - beautiful location, lovely clean & comfortable accommodation, stylish but practical & and with nice provision of bread, jam, milk, biscuits, cleaning products etc - l was especially grateful for the cling film.

Dinner plates a little large for dishwasher but that’s hardly a deal breaker.

A welcome pack on arrival was a pleasent addition to the property. The property was clean and well maintained. There was no Iron and ironing board but the hosts went out and bought one the same day we mentioned it to them and it was there when we returned from the beach. The village is beautiful and the pub very friendly.

Not much - we were there for a reason to be at a wedding close by. The location is a long way from the coast so would not use it as a coastal base but Dereham and Swaffam are close by and there are things to do locally.
