Perfect for a short stay for 6 adults, celebrating a birthday.. A tiny bit more attention to detail would have made it a
The layout downstairs was ideal with large kitchen going through to cosy lounge and wood burner. The double beds were Kingsize and pillows were comfortable. The top bedroom has an en-suite, the next two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and toilet, so the wet room shower down in the boot room was useful. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and a great range cooker and good sized fridge/ utility room. Plenty of parking, and quiet surroundings on a farm.
Just little things - We would have preferred a welcome pack with a pint of milk for a cup of tea having travelled for several hours, the brownies and miniature ginwere nice, but milk would have been more welcome. Cutlery and Crockery were not conveniently placed and the kitchen lacked work surface which made it more difficult to prepare meals. The step near the communal bathroom was difficult to see and a bit of a hazard. We were a little surprised to have to pay for an additional bucket of wood, but the wood burner did make a big difference.
