EASTFIELD HOUSE

It is a beautiful house in a lovely country setting and about a 25 min drive away from the beach. The house is well stocked and has everything you can think of. Everything was spotless. The hosts are very thoughtful, including allowing us a late check-out and providing fans due to the hot weather. 100% recommend

Nothing it was great.

We loved our stay at Eastfield House. The property was super comfortable and spacious with beautiful gardens and views. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter and the hosts couldn’t have done more to make it a great stay when travelling with a toddler. Felt like home away from home. Great location, close to beautiful beaches and lots of different activities/places to visit all very close by - Would definitely come back!

The house was in an immaculate condition and supplied so thoughtfully. From the extremely well equipped kitchen with le creuset mugs and delicious coffee. The personalised bottles shampoo, soap and shower gels provided, an array of books, games and dvds, it was a complete home from home experience. The fridge was even stocked with eggs, bread, milk and bacon plus a bottle of fizz which was such a personal touch. This was beyond a 5 star experience! The decor was so tasteful and new and was extremely clean. The shower was amazing! Towels were fresh, huge and great quality. Beds were comfortable and the outside space was well kept. The location for exploring Norfolk was perfect and such a peaceful area. All in all the perfect stay! We just wish we had stayed there for longer to appreciate it more. We will definitely be returning.

There was nothing that we disliked however a few additions we thought could improve someone's stay for future use. A full length mirror on the landing would be great. We stayed as we were going to a wedding nearby so a full length mirror is very useful. The kitchen was so well equipped so we may have missed this but couldn't find a toast rack. Wasn't an issue but just a lovely thing to have when the family are gathered around the table at breakfast. Having different pillow choices would be a lovely touch. Our personal preference is to have firmer pillows so having the option of a medium and firm pillow would be a great option to accommodate all guests. This didnt not affect our sleep at all which was very comfortable in a super king-sized bed. Just an observation here but the rain shower head, which we have at home ourselves, sprayed sideways. Unfortunately, this is really common with them and we don't use ours very often and it can become quickly clogged with limescale in a few nozzles so just a point for maintenance purposes and to get the full use out of it. It wasn't an issue as the main shower head was fantastic though but some guests who haven't used one before may not understand this.
