Lovely family getaway for Christmas!

Hosts are very reachable and helpful at all times. Lovely decorated rooms and very clean. Hot tub is absolutely huge! Pretty much everything provided in the kitchen! Managed to cook a delicious Christmas dinner and homemade trifle and had all utensils and supplies (bowls, dishes, prongs, mixing bowls etc) needed for it all. Love the vast variety of hot beverages that is provided!

Not so keen on the washing lines in the conservatory to be used for drying clothes during the winter months. It may be useful in the summer, but it was so cold in there and a lot of moisture that the clothes didn’t dry. Perhaps providing a 3 tier clothes airer could be helpful to have washing dry in front of a radiator in the warm house. There is a tumble dryer but some items I prefer to dry naturally due to materials.

Perfect

The forest house is in a great location peaceful and quiet but a short drive to amenities . The house was perfect for our family weekend. The hot tub was amazing and the gym a real bonus. Everything has been well thought out to make your stay exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and we would definitely return.

Great place!

The house was light, airy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed siting in the beautiful garden for breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sofa and arm chairs in front of the 'cinema screen'! We loved how clean everything was. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the beautiful trees in the garden. The house was very well equipped, with various drinks and cleaning items. It would have been nice to have some milk and biscuits in the fridge for that drink on arrival, but we appreciated the toilet rolls. We enjoyed being able to use 2 of the 4 bedrooms and having ample bedding and towels. We enjoyed the use of 3 bathrooms.

I didn't like all the scents, the air freshener type things all around the house esp in the conservatory, but kept opening the outside door, which helped! But we could still smell it a bit in the garden. However, it was a small thing and can easily be sorted. The smell of rubber was quite strong too from the gym area, but again, minor and keeping the door shut helped. This didn't spoil our holiday. The rooms upstairs were so hot and we were so glad there were ceiling fans installed! We felt the price was expensive for us, being just the two of us and felt that maybe the cost reflected the use of the hot tub and gym and bbq facilities and because we didn't need to use any of these or wish to use them, maybe this could be reflected in the price if we book again in the future?

Fantastic property that can accommodate a large family. Everything worked as it should and the hot tub was a hit with the family.

£500 pet deposit was a bit excessive.

The property was so accommodating to families. The space was more than enough to comfortably fit 2 families with little ones. The host was also so thoughtful when it came to daily necessities that we settled in perfectly. Plus, she was very responsive when it came to asking about questions.

We stayed for a week , location is great , quiet neighbor. The property is pet friendly. fast and easy communication with the owner. The house Is lovely. The income gym and the hot tub , just great! when we back it he area and this is available we will com back.

Perfect for a three generation stay.

A really well equipped house in every way. Spotless and of good quality. All the family settled in comfortably. The jacuzzi was a big hit with all especially as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when visiting family.

The terraced garden would require supervision of young children.

Great setting for our family reunion!

Lovely spacious house accommodating our family group of 6 adults… loved the hot tub, coffee machine and BBQ! Great location to access Thetford Forest activities or for strolls along the river. Plenty of parking, good laundry facilities.

Seating didn’t match the house capacity - movie nights to enjoy the amazing large TV resulted in fights over who got to sit on the sofa and who had to sit in the floor! Lounge seating is only for 4 people and dining seating for 6, which seems a little odd in a house with capacity for 8.
