Brilliant locations for where we wanted to be. Very clean throughout from room to bar area. Very friendly staff members felt welcome from the beginning. And the pool table was only 50p per game amazing !

The staff were amazing as were the locals. I was made to feel welcomed straight away. The room was great for the money as well. I will be staying here again when I'm up next.

Looking for somewhere as a base to go to the peice hall, great location 5 minute taxi ride away, above a great pub with really nice helpful staff, didn’t try the food as didn’t have time but looked really nice and very popular, comfy bed, clean,plenty of towels. basic but for a place to stay and get your head down it’s fine and will book again when back again

Busy road at the front is busy so gets noisy would request one to the rear if possible next time

The place had new owners who’d only been there 2 weeks & to say I booked & turned up 1/2 an hour later they were prepared for me & gave me a welcome upgrade which is always appreciated as a single traveler. Plenty of car parking which you don’t get with some of the other places in Halifax town centre. There was a welcome tray with tea & coffee… I was soo glad of a cuppa after a long journey & got a lovely hot shower- Shower & Bathroom nice & clean (no mouldy showers). Watched a bit of telly & had a lovely sleep in a comfortable bed with nice clean bedding— As a B&B owner myself for 19yrs I was visiting family in Northowram & it was ideal just down the road , For the price it’s good clean budget accommodation that ticks the boxes. There were just a couple little things I mentioned on checkout to the new owners for feedback . Like a plastic glass in the bathroom would be handy when brushing your teeth & the WiFi password maybe in a more prominent place by the Tv/ Kettle ? as I had to go back down to the bar to ask for it (apparently it’s on a little ornament on the windowsill but as I’d pulled the curtain on I didn’t see that) I wish them good luck in their new venture & I’d happily stay again.
