Cozy 1 bed city apartment

Perfectly easy to find. Lots of shops nearby. Easy lockbox check in. Great layout. Comfy bed and nicely aired throughout.

I was kind of expecting a few sachets of coffee and some toilet roll. However, it’s a self contained. Self catering property so , you can’t expect these. It’s minor gripes. Extremely happy with property

Parking was a struggle due to parking restrictions.

The owner was helpful when there were problems with the initial apartment and found us another place to stay within a few hours. New place was very clean and quiet for a good night's sleep. Kitchen had brand new furniture. Beds looked new and very comfortable. (Note:My review is mainly re the place we moved to which was an upgrade by the owner.... Was much better than initial place. This is an honest, fair and genuine review of experience.

Stressful to arrange to move apartment and started looking to book a hotel to stay when didn't hear back from owner. Also had to wait for cleaners to finish in the place we moved to and in end had shower whilst still they were cleaning around us! These are not luxury apartments but properties turned around quickly for rental. There are maintenance issues eg holes in walls needing repair, front door difficult to open/ close. Attention to important details like boxing in pipes, rather than simply painting them, to consider in my opinion This is more important than a few nice cushions. The area isn't the best part of Peterborough although I didn't mind the " cosmopolitan" environment. My friends from Peterborough were worried about us staying in the area though and certainly the first apartment would have been very noisy on Friday night.

The property was generally clean and comfortable and near an Iceland which made food shopping cheap.

The oven symbols / temperatures aren’t very visible, making it hard to cook food in it, the toilet was also very close to the sink in the bathroom and couldn’t sit on it straight.
