Extremely Disappointing, Not as photographs suggest, dirty, noisy and uncomfortable

The location was convenient with easy access to public transport, which was a positive. Note you have to exit station on the opposite side of the bridge to the accommodation so it isnt as close as the map suggests

The accommodation was in very poor condition - Not as photos suggest The room was dirty, carpet not hoovered, stains and marks all over the walls, including right by the bed. Cutlery, mugs and dishes had remnants of food. Cigarette burns were visible on the windowsill and laminate flooring. Despite being listed as non-smoking, the entire space smelled strongly of smoke, and there was a visible haze in the air even with the windows open. Walls were thin, could hear conversations from people in other rooms. Front door was not secured even though there are signs to lock it. The bathroom was concerning — the shower had black mold, the tiles were covered in grime, and the bathmat appeared not to have been washed, with burn marks on it as well. Every surface in the property had dust. The bedding was marked, and I did not feel comfortable checking beneath the sheets. Unfortunately, the condition of this property made the stay unpleasant. If we had time and resources we would have looked to go elsewhere, we spent minimal time at the property (only came back to sleep) We do recommend it in its current state, and it certainly did not match the cleanliness standards expected.

Unpleasant, disappointing, Money wasted; unresponsive staff and waiting for a full refund

There wasn’t anything to like about the property aside its location. Poor hygiene and bad maintenance

My stay at your hotel was terrible and rooms were disgustingly unhealthy and unhygienic. I left the accommodation before time as I had to think of my health. Hands printed on walls, cigarettes stains on rug, mould in the bathroom floor; cigarettes smells from the closet; mattress felt unkept.

Near where I needed to be

Strong smell of smoke in the room, even leaving all the windows open for a few days made no difference. Burn marks in furniture and window sill. It’s a HMO so quite noisy, also check in time changed on the day.

Very bad attitude from the owner .I drove from Blackburn and was a very hot day too couldnt get into the property, on contacting the owner who was not at all helpful and inconsiderate etc everything was made very hard for me even i had no toilet to access after driving so far etc he ws disgusting in his behaviour. The kitchen or bathroom had no bin even ....It was my 1st time booking an Airbnb and has put me off straightaway will not book anymore will book a hotel instead ...sorry everything is explained in the email I sent as I booked it via a friend who uses Airbnb...sorry..

Good accommodation at peterborough

After I got moved to my new residence I found the location to be convenient and good value.

The original place I was sent to had issues with its mattress. After moving the conditions were much improved.

Comfy bed but I wouldn’t recommend I’m sorry

It was modern, had a secure entrance, easy to check in and out, shower pressure it so nice!! Bed was also very comfy.

The upstairs neighbours were constantly banging, without being crude, it sounded very intimate and LOUD, the next day they were blasting music..there was half a toilet roll in my room. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly as there was a kinder on windowsill and coke in fridge. No shampoo/comditioner/body wash or any other toiletries. Barely any cutlery, one bowl and plate. No TV and the blinds made it very bright in the morning too. It is advertised as a spa bath…it’s a shower.
