Holly Cottage

We have just returned from our stay at Holly Cottage. It was fantastic. Our communication with Molly was excellent , she was quick to reply to any enquiries we had. The cottage was lovely, thank you for the biscuits and very welcoming . We settled in straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, very well equipped. Parking wasn't difficult, though there wasn't a pavement. The cottage was a 15min walk from sherwood forest , which was beautiful. It took us less than 15mins drive to get to clumber park , thoresby hall, rufford abbey. This is a wonderful location if you love walking. Thanks to some lovely neighbours we were directed to the walk to rufford abbey. There is a longer walk via the footpath after the railway bridge and along the disused railway line. We would love to return. Thank you molly

Loved everything

The cottage was tucked away, so it was peaceful. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. The decor was thoughtfully designed, with nice little touches.

I couldn't have a shower in the morning, due to a back problem. This in no way detracts from the property, as I was aware that there wasn't a walk in shower at the time of booking, and it was only for one night.
